Amazing narrative!

Enjoyed the story, narration, details, and all the colors and sounds of the surroundings. Really makes me wonder the integrity of the press and the royal palace. I can feel how tough it is to go through life under his circumstances.

It's book like this that perpetrate the mistrust and war mongering stance of the west. Simply it is the pot calling the kettle black. Yeah, the west has been saying that China will screw everyone involved in the belt and road initiative, due to the west been doing this for many many years to other countries. So the default way of thinking is China is doing the same. The US has been doing this for geo-political and military gain. China's interest is all on economics. That's the biggest difference. This book makes all reader think that China's motive is the same as US. Completely biased and lopsided view point.
One more, the narrator couldn't even pronounce a single word of Chinese correctly, just to show a more balance narrative, at least the narration should have a better pronunciation of names and sentences.

Personally, I'm not into bio science, but after listening to this book, I'm hooked. Now, it opens the possibility of what's to come and closer to answer about our mortality. Kudos!

Great story, but narration is terrible!

My complaint about the narration is the way some of the spoken words are so soft that I could barely hear them, especially when some of the voices are so loud to suddenly fall into a whisper that render the narration inaudible. So hard to listen when I'm driving and miss a big part of the story every now and then. Super frustrated about this. Otherwise, the story is great, the changes in voices are good too, makes you understand who's talking, but then again, you'll miss a big part if you don't concertrate listening to it and directly plug-in to your ears.

Would you consider the audio edition of Shoe Dog to be better than the print version?

I believe the audio book is just as good than the printed book. This book comes alive with the reading and tone of voice from the narrator which you don't get when you read a physical book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Shoe Dog?

The lessons that Ohil learn throughout his life, the wins and successes as well as the trials and disappointments lead him to who he is.
