Historia
The discovery of a secret stairway running to the top of the castle leads Princess Irene to a revelation even more weighty than the fiendish plans of the goblin community that miner boy Curdie has discovered. Will the Princess and Curdie understand the significance of what they have found, or will Harelip and the goblins successfully execute their evil plan?

Amazing story, amazing performance. Refreshing contrast to modern day stories. Keep your hand on the thread, and eyes to the moon light!

It introduces listeners to key themes that have shaped Spain's history and culture, including its varied landscapes and climates; the impact of waves of diverse human migrations; the importance of its location as a bridge between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean and Europe and Africa; and religion, particularly militant Catholic Christianity and its centuries of conflict with Islam and Protestantism.

Struggling With Narrator
Revisado: 03-27-24
Hearing a British accent when learning about Spanish history is a let down. Plus, when the narrator pronounces words in Spanish it sounds like he is choking on his tongue- he over embellishes and over emphasizes, it is uncomfortable to hear.
