Historia
In 1984, a doomsday vault was constructed on a remote island in the Arctic Ocean. Its purpose was to preserve Earth's genetic history in the event of a global catastrophe. Now, decades later, a second vault has been uncovered, this one resting where no one ever expected. And the problem is it's not ours. Yet even more curious than the vault itself is what lies inside. Seeds. Millions of seeds. Each with a genetic embryo untouched and perfectly preserved. Waiting.

Good stuff
Revisado: 08-23-23
This pick was a shot in the dark but I’m glad I took it. I will definitely read more when it’s available. Nice touch putting just a hint of Sci-Fi to keep me hooked and waiting for more.

I really tried…
Revisado: 06-14-23
I gave it 2 full hours, I really did but I just can’t do yet another wanna be sci-fi book about a misogynist in space that sleeps with all the hot chicks. Who buys this crap and even worse…who publishes it? Did they even read it? If you want to categorize this as science fiction….you failed, miserably.

Historia
The witnesses are legion, scattered across the world and dotted through history, people who looked up and saw something impossible lighting up the night sky. What those objects were, where they came from, and who - or what - might be inside them is the subject of fierce debate and equally fierce mockery, so that most who glimpsed them came to wish they hadn't. Most, but not everyone.

This book was amazing!
Revisado: 02-03-23
I wasn’t sure what I was getting into with this one but I was hooked in less than an hour. Each chapter leaves you right at the edge of your seat and then takes you right back to that edge in the next chapter with another character. I lost sleep staying up listening and finished this book in less than three days. I hope the next one is equally gripping.

I loved it…
Revisado: 12-11-22
However if you are uptight, religious or close-minded this kind of perspective will most likely upset you. You probably need that kind of disruption in your life but change is uncomfortable for a lot of people so I doubt it would be appreciated. Anyway, great perspective, I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Revisado: 12-05-22
If you haven’t been following the series up to this point, the book may be a lot to understand as it is part of a 20+ series of books. I recommend going through in order if you can and this book will seem much better than if read alone. Anyway, I enjoyed it and hope you do too.

If you haven’t listened to this author…

you really should! This is the second story by this author that I’ve enjoyed in the last 3 days and I’ve been blown away by both. This storyteller really knows how to pull some very interesting aspects of the human psyche and emotion out of the characters. I wouldn’t want to spoil any part of the story so all I can do is encourage others to enjoy it and see what kind of response they get from their own emotions. It’s worth it.

I could enjoy a lot more of these, reminds me of the old radio mystery productions. My dad would by them on cassette in the 80’s and we’d listen to them on road trips. This is a brilliant update to the craft.

Well…
Revisado: 08-11-22
I listened to the whole thing straight through and I’m still not completely sure what was going on. I think I understand the basic elements of the story and concept for the most part but the whole thing left me looking for the “why”. There never seems to be a good explanation of why the characters are where they are and what they’re supposed to be doing. Maybe that information is inferred somewhere however those details escaped me and still do. Good luck
