Historia
Max has his home area protected now, with Maggie's help. He's trying to bring more people into the safe zone they created and while he does that, he's also fixing some electronics to work alongside the mana that's infusing everything. Despite the quarantine and its promise of danger, a number of people are intentionally trying to enter it after hearing the tales of what goes on inside. Meanwhile Prometheus has learned that radioactive materials can help open the wormhole further, allowing the mana to flow through and assimilate the Earth more quickly.

Best of both worlds
Revisado: 04-07-25
This is an amazing blend of all my favorite genres. My only complaint would be is it it sort of drags a little bit the writer seems to be get stuck in his characters daily schedules.. and I’m a little sad. We keep falling more and more out of touch with Maggie, but that doesn’t mean I’m not gonna read it a few more times this is really fun really interesting and pretty exciting.

Historia
Keiran, millennia old archmage, has managed to successfully control the reincarnation cycle and retain all of his memories and skills. That’s about the only thing that’s gone right. Mana seems to have all but disappeared, and a cabal of mages from a nearby city have been using the villagers of his new home as a mana farm for their own purposes. How long was Keiran gone? Where did the mana go? Does it have anything to do with the missing moon from the sky or the bizarre loss of the written language from his first life? Why are the best mages on the level of bumbling apprentices?

Historia
Digby Graves, a deceased medieval peasant with delusions of grandeur, is trying to figure out how the hell he ended up in Seattle eight hundred years after his death. Also, why does he have necrotic magic coursing through his zombified body? Added to that is the fact that he made a terrible first impression the moment he woke up by lunging at the first person that came into biting range. Now, the curse he unleashed is loose in the world.

Fun, funny and exciting I feel like the classic punk thing works well in the Seattle environment and nothing with the rats was absolutely brilliant and also I also think the pop culture museum in Seattle is absolutely effing ugly. I was there when it was built and I still think it’s ugly.

Historia
In just seven days, the world will crumble. The System's Descent will usher in a new era of chaos: wild animals mutating, monstrous creatures emerging, and the cessation of modern technology. Humanity will be left defenseless. Drew Wright knows none of this. At least not until he is rudely ripped from his bed and thrust into a white room to undergo a taser-happy ‘Tutorial’. Turns out, he is one of a thousand randomly selected people to be forewarned of the approaching apocalypse. Now, he faces the delightful task of convincing his wife and mother of the devastation hurtling towards them.

I like all of the preplanning and now he’s just sort of guessing his way through the whole thing and placing it in the middle of the Bible belt and having to deal with all of that was very thought-provoking very interesting

Revisado: 03-28-24
almost non stop fun the main character is reaction at the beginning of the book are way more believable than like some crazy dude just jumping up and murdering everybody that he sees there’s enough calm moments in the books so that you don’t just get burnt out on murder everything and you generally feel it when he has difficult emotions is good book. I’m looking forward to the next one

It’s fun and thought-provoking
Revisado: 02-25-24
It was a pretty fun story. Lots of interesting mysteries to sync your teeth into. I’m glad to see the emotional fallout, starting to be expressed in parts of the story overall, it was pretty good, but I wanna point out that the narrator makes it without a good narrator, this would not have been something. I could’ve listened to at all.

I could 100% live without the sound effects but they did make it a lot funnier. Once you get used to them the whole book was just hilariously funny and I wish I was more mature than I am, but allowing myself, a little immaturity in the face of ridiculous humor, was 100% worth it

Took a minute to get used to narrator
Revisado: 01-03-24
It took a minute to get used to the narrator. He has a very different voice from others that I’ve heard, but he’s really good at different trading between characters. The story was pretty good and very interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed that and there’s plenty of meat left over at the end, that you really excited to listen to the next story.
Also, the story gets a little poetic at times, which can sort of take care of the immersion, but it helps to stabilize the Minotaur character
