Historia
Lucas Thorn wasn't born a cheater. All it took was a single moment - say, a certain disastrous incident on the night before his wedding - and boom. Reputation destroyed forever and always. So now he owns it. He has a lady friend for every night of the week (except Sundays - God's day and all), and his rules are simple: No commitments. No exceptions. But a certain smart-mouthed, strawberry blonde vixen is about to blow that all to hell.

I tried but just could not
Revisado: 10-19-17
I wanted to like it, but it just wasn’t for me. I actually didn’t even finish it. There is still about an hour left and I just don’t care to listen anymore. The banter is cute and funny but the storyline is just not a good one which made it hard to enjoy

Historia
Virginity. Bliss Edwards is about to graduate from college and still has hers. Sick of being the only virgin among her friends, she decides the best way to deal with the problem is to lose it as quickly and simply as possible - a one-night stand. But her plan turns out to be anything but simple when she freaks out and leaves a gorgeous guy alone and naked in her bed with an excuse that no one with half a brain would ever believe. And as if that weren't embarrassing enough, when she arrives for her first class of her last college semester, she recognizes her new theater professor....

Loved it
Revisado: 08-22-17
I thought this book was perfect. New adult is a new genres of books and I think Cora Carmack nailed it. It wasn't too racy where I felt like it was an erotica book and the cursing wasn't out of control. I think a lot of new adult books tend to lean that way since it can't be done in young adult books. It was the perfect amount of funny, sexy and romantic. I wasn't rolling my eyes at the mushy love story that is something I'd see on Hallmark. I am 27 and reading about college students or people in their twenties is more relatable to me. It reminded me of all the early twenty fun I had not too long ago. Can't wait to listen to the whole series.
I also thought the narrator was great. Listening to a good book can be drag when the narrator just does not connect with the character. I felt like Phoebe was Bliss.

Pay close attention, and you might solve this. On Monday afternoon five students at Bayview High walk into detention. Bronwyn, the brain, is Yale-bound and never breaks a rule. Addy, the beauty, is the picture-perfect homecoming princess. Nate, the criminal, is already on probation for dealing. Cooper, the athlete, is the all-star baseball pitcher. The only reason why I didn't give 4 stars was because I wasn't crazy about the ending between two characters. The epilogue could've been much better if the last chapter didn't finish the way it did. Overall great book though. I finished it in 2 days because I couldn't stop listening. I heard mixed reviews about the plot twist which I actually happened to like. this book is not as predictable as you would think. I already recommended to two people :)

Review
Revisado: 12-14-16
The story seemed to have promise. Abbey was way to whiney. The character personalities didn't seem to go well. A whiney woman like Abbey would not win over a successful man like Nick. If she did less of that I think the story would've been more enjoyable. She complained too much, especially about him. I started getting annoyed when she thought he changed but then he didn't but then he did but then he didn't again. That story line dragged on too much and got old. I think the narration played a part in it too. Maybe the narrator sounded more whiney then the author intended. Either way I wouldn't recommend this book.
