They also know his former classmate-turned-famous best-selling novelist, Godfrey Priest. But someone in Athena took Godfrey off the best seller lists - permanently, and with extreme prejudice. not terribly exciting
Revisado: 08-27-18
One of the problems with this book is that the main character was a male and the narrator sounded like a female. Hard to listen to. Also, the story progressed more slowly than I would prefer.

Historia
It’s 1996, and Reacher is still in the army. In the morning they give him a medal, and in the afternoon they send him back to school. That night he’s off the grid. Out of sight, out of mind. Two other men are in the classroom—an FBI agent and a CIA analyst. Each is a first-rate operator, each is fresh off a big win, and each is wondering what the hell they are doing there. Then they find out: A Jihadist sleeper cell in Hamburg, Germany, has received an unexpected visitor—a Saudi courier, seeking safe haven while waiting to rendezvous with persons unknown.

Waste of time
Revisado: 01-21-18
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
I would not recommend this book to a friend. The usual people that I recommend Reacher books wouldn't like it either, I don't think.
If you’ve listened to books by Lee Child before, how does this one compare?
I have read all the other Jack Reacher books. I usually enjoy them very much. I thought the story lingered too long and then the end seemed too fast and light for this series.
Have you listened to any of Dick Hill’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Usually really enjoy Dick Hill's performances. Maybe it was all the accents, but I couldn't distinguish the characters by their voices unless a name was stated or the subject of the conversation helped me with who was speaking.
Do you think Night School needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
If I knew it was a follow-up book, I probably wouldn't even buy it; however, I will keep reading Jack Reacher book with different story lines. I thought the story line of this book just went on and on with nothing happening.

But now she's about to face her biggest challenge since setting foot in the tiny bayou town. When mayoral candidate Ted Williams is murdered, everyone is surprised. Ted was a blowhole and a Yankee, but those usually weren't good reasons to kill someone.

Fun to listen
Revisado: 07-22-16
What did you love best about Swamp Sniper?
One of the things that I loved best and loved best in all the Deleon books I have listened to is how funny some of the one-liners are. I will just be driving down the road and will laugh out loud. I imagine my fellow drivers worry about me!
Who was your favorite character and why?
My favorite is Gertie. She is just funny.
What about Cassandra Campbell’s performance did you like?
I like being able to recognize the characters' voices. She is consistent.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made me laugh.

Historia
It’s the middle of the night when Kathleen hears fighting coming from her neighbor Sheila’s apartment. As disturbing as that is, it’s the ominous sound of silence afterwards that keeps Kathleen from falling back to sleep. Slipping from bed with the intention of making sure everything is okay, Kathleen knocks on her friend’s door, only to find Sheila murdered, her naked body sprawled on sheets stained crimson with her blood. Shock and horror are followed by gritty determination when it becomes clear that Sheila’s death isn’t random and it isn’t the result of a jealous boyfriend.

Grating voice
Revisado: 07-04-14
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
As a book to read, yes. As a book on tape, no. The story is fine, but not the narration.
What didn’t you like about Angela Dawe’s performance?
Her inflection was irritating, for instance, she would emphasize the wrong word in a sentence. Also, if I set the volume for the main character's voice, I could not hear the other characters' voices. I was constantly having to change the volume depending on which character was speaking. Since I listen to my books as I travel, it was irritating.
Do you think No Turning Back needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
Would probably read a follow-up.

Historia
Lacey Terwilliger's shock and humiliation over her husband's philandering prompt her to add some bonus material to Mike's company newsletter: stunning Technicolor descriptions of the special brand of "administrative support" his receptionist gives him. The detailed mass e-mail to Mike's family, friends, and clients blows up in her face, and before one can say "instant urban legend", Lacey has become the pariah of her small Kentucky town and a media punch line....

Love Molly Harper!
Revisado: 01-30-12
What made the experience of listening to And One Last Thing... the most enjoyable?
There was plenty of humor to offset the seriousness.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The main character was, of course, my favorite. She was funny and down to earth. Listening to her struggle while she kept her sense of humor was entertaining. Ms. Harper can make her characters shine.
What does Amanda Ronconi bring to the story that you wouldn???t experience if you just read the book?
When listening to the book, you believe that the reader is the main character. Some times when I read rather than listen I might not put the same spin on the dialog as Ms. Ronconi does.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed a lot.
Any additional comments?
Thoroughly enjoyed the book. Have gotten other Harper books since listening to this one.

I don't think that too many readers will like this ending. I am not sure I will even read the next book. Disappointed.
