I found that Wendy connects with her readers both in her writing and in her audiobook. I enjoyed reading and listening before work and while I drove to work. I’d listen to it and think oh I need to mark that in the book. I can’t wait to start over for another 40 days!!

this book was not really about his time in North Korea but how God doesn't exist and how he feels bad about being a white male. Made it to the 6rh chapter. if you're looking for a story about North Korea imprisonment this is not one you want to read or listen to.

This story is fabulous. After the first chapter, I was ready to go for my walks just so I could listen to what happens next. The story keeps me walking, so not only am I listening to a great story but I'm getting more steps in because I can't stop listening.
