I can’t not finish a series. No matter how bad it is. The book needs work. Some of the writing I swear is written by teenagers. There are good bones there but lacking details. And don’t get me started with the audible. Surely they have access to more than one female narrator? It seems she does all their series which makes it hard to really get into these characters. The bonus episode is a waste of time and only is there to ensure u continue to get their newsletters.

I would hope at the very least u could get some variations with narrators from one book to another. She doesn’t read well, often very matter of fact and with little emotion. Her male version voices leave a lot to be desired. They would more like pubescent boy’s voices

Too short too rushed audible is horrible

I wasn’t a fan of the female narrator. Her voice is too monotone. If you’re gonna offer an audible book version, please spend the extra money and get a better female voice, as well as a male narrator. I was so disappointed in this series. The book and storyline were way too, rushed for all that you could unpack there.

I love a good duet, but this one went beyond whatever I have read before. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the musical inserts. It was perfect! Loved the narrators. My only criticism was Walker’s voice in spots were seductive and husky (which I love) but not in the right areas. Instead of just speaking, it’s almost like he’s seductively whispering when he’s describing a hockey game for example. Just didn’t work with the scene

I think Zane is my favorite with Jesse coming in at a close second. Definitely need to start Dirtyverse with this book. I love this series the most bc of all the music references. I think they’re perfectly placed and give the series a 3D feel. I just want to live here

They just kept getting worse. She can’t seemed to write more than 10-11 chapters leaving characters underdeveloped and story lines missing pieces and details. I need to find another author

Kit wasn’t the right female narrator for this story IMO. She made Ziggy so whiny, it made it difficult to finish. Enjoyed the read and characters. The audible not so much.

Storyline overall was good performance was good. But Zen’s character and the use of they/them was totally unnecessary to anything in the story. And a major distraction for me.
