Historia
In this landmark 1984 work on free will, Daniel Dennett makes a case for compatibilism. His aim, as he writes in the preface to this new edition, was a cleanup job, "saving everything that mattered about the everyday concept of free will while jettisoning the impediments". In Elbow Room, Dennett argues that the varieties of free will worth wanting - those that underwrite moral and artistic responsibility - are not threatened by advances in science but distinguished, explained, and justified in detail.

You will be disappointed
Revisado: 12-11-23
The description made me so excited, because it sounds like a really interesting and deep book.
Boy was I let down. The author try’s way to hard to fill his pages with really big words. It takes him a whole chapter to ramble on about what could easily be expressed in a few sentences.
I’ve been listening to it for 3.5 hours now and I can’t tel you a single point that has been made.
The narrator almost whistles with ever s sound.
It is free after all. So I’m not so disappointed.
But I was for sure let down.

The plot was a bit questionable.
Revisado: 07-25-23
So the story was well written, and narrated, but I found my self furrowing my brow to some of the character back stories. Even tho the story was well written, i don’t believe it was well though out. The high school age characters was acting and making decisions that wasn’t believable for someone in that age group. And the most import missing person just isn’t believable. I love Harlen Coben, and Steven Weber did amazing. But I felt let down as this story unfolded.

Best story pod cast I’ve ever experienced.

At first, like all story lines I found my self hearing holes in the story here and there and then noticing some parts of each character I felt would have been better if the author would have went a different direction with. But I still found my self hooked at the end of each episode, wanting more. Those hooks went deeper as they start each episode with some alluring question in the current understand of the plot. I found my head constantly spinning (in a good way). But that ending. The way the wrapped it all up. That finally. Was AMAZING. I want more like this. The only down side is, I’m only half way finished with my work day and now I don’t know what I’m going to listen to for the rest of the day. BRAVO.

I can not tell you if this book is actually good or not. Ever time I try to listen to it, I get about 5 mins before I have to stop. The narration is horrible. I have complete listened to thousands of audiobooks, this is the first one that I couldn’t force my self to suffer my way through.
Waste of a credit.
