Sanderson's wokeness sounds like he had a gun to his head. It does not flow. It does not feel like the actual story. WTF?

This guy is a con artist
Revisado: 10-25-18
From a scientific perspective, this book is pure bilge. The author is either an idiot, in the sense of expounding on topics that one does not understand, or a con artist.
I believe it is the latter, because much of the medical information is in depth, and comes from a person who is highly educated.
Sadly, the author could have written a book that was informative and useful; he knows enough to do so, but instead He chose to run a con game, using technical jargon to spin up a whirlwind of apparent magic to convince people that he knows something deep about the nature of reality.
Just consider his references to "red light, having a frequency of 650 cycles per second," no, it has a frequency of 650,000,000,000,000 cycles per second, only wrong by a factor of a trillion. Give me a break!
Or his suggestion that we emit x-rays, and with his meditation techniques, we can emit even more x-rays, oh please. we don't even emit red light, otherwise we would glow in the dark.
He talks about "a cloud of electrons made up of photons," this is as sensible as "a cloud of oranges made up of peanut butter, " it has no meaning at all.
He is a liar, and is running a con based on the general public's ignorance of science. Don't waste your time or a credit.

Historia
For more than 40 years, the US government has researched extrasensory perception, using it in attempts to locate hostages, fugitives, secret bases, and downed fighter jets, to divine other nations' secrets, and even to predict future threats to national security. The intelligence agencies and military services involved include CIA, DIA, NSA, DEA, the navy, air force, and army - and even the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Now, for the first time, New York Times best-selling author Annie Jacobsen tells the story of these radical, controversial programs.

Best non fiction book ever
Revisado: 06-07-18
I loved this book, it changed my sense of reality. It is thoroughly documented and assembled in a way that the reader can make sense of a complex history involving hundreds of people over a seventy year span.
I suspect that the author was very skeptical as she started putting the history into order, but eventually became overwhelmed by the evidence. She takes you along for the ride in a brilliant and beautifully written history. She made a believer out of me!

This man does not understand relativity. Hearing this audio book is like listening to some drunken kook ramble about things he doesn't understand as he blathers on at the bar stool next to you.
It was obviously not read from a prepared text, the guy is just rambling, just winging it.
A complete mess.

Misleading
Revisado: 05-20-13
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Communists might enjoy this book. Leftists, liberal chowderheads will probably like this book.
What was most disappointing about Dave Lakhani’s story?
You might expect this book to give you insight into subliminal marketing or subliminal persuasion, but its actually a propaganda book on liberal talking points. I listened for about an hour, then deleted it. First time I've ever deleted an audible book before finishing it.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
I was stunned at how phony it was. It doesn't cover the subject it claims to cover at all.
Any additional comments?
