What did you like best about The Liar? What did you like least?
What I like about the book is the attempt to handle the psychology of deceiving
If you’ve listened to books by Nora Roberts before, how does this one compare?
I like better. Her other books.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
It was ok.
Was The Liar worth the listening time?
On the border.
Any additional comments?
The book was obvious. There were a few mistake in the plot. For example, it was assumed that the prisoner sitting in jail for more than four years can download the complete hard disk of the computer without any problem. I believe that the person sitting in jail would have a hard time knowing how to start the computer after being released or being escape. Those system change all the time. Moreover, sometimes we put a password. Also the punchline of the book was obvious from the beginning.

Historia
It's 1939, in New York City. Joe Kavalier, a young artist who has also been trained in the art of Houdiniesque escape, has just pulled off his greatest feat: smuggling himself out of Hitler's Prague. He's looking to make big money, fast, so that he can bring his family to freedom. His cousin, Brooklyn's own Sammy Clay, is looking for a partner in creating the heroes, stories, and art for the latest novelty to hit the American dreamscape: the comic book.

Yes
What did you like best about this story?
I especially liked the part on the Golem From Prague who fled what Nzai. I asked myself if Michael Chabon was suggested that computers are the Golem. Since we all know that computers where created at the post-war time 1946.
