Historia
My name is Kazimir Wolfe. People call me "Kaz", except they don’t. I never use my real name; it’s too dangerous, for me and for anyone I meet. I’m on the run from the law, who think I killed my aunt, and from whoever did kill her, because they want to finish the job. So, I move around a lot, working construction or whatever job I can find. It’s a lonely life. I don’t let anyone get close...people who get close to me end up dead. Why? I’m a wizard. The world’s only wizard, as far as I know.

A interesting world
Revisado: 03-04-24
This was a good start to a new series. Only detractors would be the lack of focus in the early bits the main character had fate guiding him rather than his own goals.

Historia
Enemies emerge everywhere. Stagnation starts seeming standard. Results require Ruthlessness. Joe has been moving deeper into his study of ritual magic and further away from his combat team. He's learning more and more, but more often than not needs to choose between his research and squad leadership. Improving the town is a huge help to the guild, and they have been pushing to increase their power. Their rapid increases have not gone unnoticed. The guild receives an ultimatum, delivered by assassins and signed with blood.

A mixed bag of issues.
Revisado: 03-15-23
To start I'll be going a bit into story so spoiler warning! To be frank Aten and Joe are idiots. Aten is a complete failure as a leader for not using Joe better. Joe is too wild and carefree not to notice that the big conflict of this book could of been resolved 5 different ways. I want to say Mike has a idea by using the cabal over Joe in the end. That rant aside I saw some good. the start to Bards quest line and the introduction to cursed items and explanation of what happens when you try to cheat the world. All great world building points and useful. I'm mad at how bad they shafted the team in the event though. that was pure system favoritism for the other side. if the author had pulled back on the 3rd class and made Joe use the "Book of powerful War rituals" he has they could of reached the conclusion just as well.

A kick arse old man with a wee pink man
Revisado: 09-03-20
Brings a whole new meaning to "the pen is mightier than the sword." It was really fun to return to the world of the Iron Druid from a different point of view. Once again the tag team duo of Kevin Hearne and Luke Daniels make a fantastic combination!

The Nutmeg of Consolation opens as the castaways fashion a makeshift vessel from the wreckage, only to have it destroyed in a fiery attack by Malay pirates. Revisado: 07-19-12
What did you like best about The Nutmeg of Consolation? What did you like least?
When I tried to put this on my RCA media player part one worked fine but when the track swiched over my player gave me a "File format not supported," message. I've tried deleteing the program and i still does not work. Has anyone eles had this problem?
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
Couldn't get to the end.
