LOVE the story. The narrator was pretty good as well (she did a great job!). But...it sounded like the reading was done in a closet. There was lots of time that it sounded like words were skipped or the audio just cut out. There were spots where the chapter wasn't done before the next chapter started (ahem, Ch 1 into Ch 2). I love this series, and would highly recommend, but this audiobook needs work/polish.

Really like the stories. I always enjoyed the collaboration of these 2 authors. I'm always up for a good insta-love/lust story and these don't disappoint. My biggest issue is with the narrator. The female narrator is just fine. There is plenty of inflection and generally enjoyable to listen to. It's the male narrator that's the issue. While listening to the female do her chapters, it sounds crisp and clear. While listening to the male narrator do his chapters, they sound "blurry". They are not crisp and clear, and when he is not using his intermonologue and is actually speaking to/as another character, the volume is so low I can barely make out what he's saying. I hope this is not going to be a new trend because it's not enjoyable.

While it was a little slow to start, I really liked the story.
Slight spoilers.
Abby is dumped at her engagement party and her stepbrothers come to the rescue.
I liked that Abby accepted the relationship fairly quickly and we didn't have to wait until the very end of the story for her to get on board. I also liked that she didn't even consider giving her ex another chance, but it would have been nice if there was a little more "revenge" for what he did. There was enough steam to keep me interested, but not so overdone to be repetitive.
Would recommend.

narration needs work

This is one of my favorite rejected mate stories. The woman narrating does a great job in the sense that she sounds like an 18 year old girl. Unfortunately, there are lots of mistakes during the narration. There are repeated sentences as if trying to get them right, there are pauses were there should not be pauses and there are times when the narrator makes a mistake says excuse me or some other thing that causes you to realize that a screw up has occurred. It was nice to hear a narration with a voice that sounds like it was appropriate for the main character. Unfortunately it was not done very professionally. It sounded like someone was reading this in a closet or some other place in someone's home because you could hear background noises at some points. Even with all of this, I know I'll listen to this over and over again.

I like the stories (purchased for my kindle), but the narration leaves a lot to be desired. There were sections that sounded very robotic and emotionless. I listen to my audiobooks over and over, but I won't with this one.
