I am not capable of not finishing a book, but this would have been one of the ones I would have put down. 3/4 of the way through the book of finally kind of picks up. The spicy scenes were great but not enough to keep me from wanting to put the book down. The plot is great, I just feel like it should have been worked different I suppose.

I cant believe I didnt remember

I read this when i was in high school and i loved it then. Almost 20 years later, im glad I decided to reread it. I cant believe how dark this story is and that we're required to read it in high school. I did not capture the true meaning back then but im very glad I read it again. This book is meant to be a warning and it sadly seems to be being used as a guidebook. I highly recommend everyone either reread it or read for the first time. Pure genius.
The author was very good. I loved how he pronounced certain words and how lively his voice is.

The story was alright but it was infuriating with the struggle between the love of the main characters. Ive read BDB and it has similar drama but its not as drawn out.
