Historia
Suspended in the nothing between timelines, the station Janus is an unseen marvel: the greatest technological achievement in human innovation. From Janus, Gustavo and his hand-selected team of historians and engineers venture into the past and observe history, unseen and unnoticed. But they are not alone. Another traveler is shattering history. Unhindered by desires to remain scientific and uninvolved, the intruder’s technology is far advanced with methods more brutal and a present more terrifying than anything Gustavo and his team are prepared for.

Great Story, Uneven Narration
Revisado: 08-14-19
I had previously read The Line and enjoyed it, but it had been a while and I only remembered broad strokes of the story, not specifics. The story is engaging and pulls you in. I was always waiting for the next shoe to drop. The only negative I would say is that I could have used a little more backstory on each character in the beginning, there was some interaction that could benefit from that. But it didn't detract too much from the story.
I thought the narration was ok. During the first half I kept getting pulled out by what felt like an uneven reading of the book. Since I had read it previously and don't recall feeling that way while reading, I can only attribute it to the narration.
Note: I was offered a free review copy of the audiobook and have left this review voluntarily.
