Thoroughly Enjoyed Listening and Learning
Revisado: 02-20-23
I was hesitant in using Airbnb as a source of income, but after listening to this book I'm excited about the possibilities. I enjoyed the stories most that were throughout the practical tips and game plans provided. I never knew there were so many options available. It was easy to listen to as I walked my dog and did other chores. I'm glad I got this audible.

Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Historia
A razor-sharp thinker offers a new understanding of our post-truth world and explains the American instinct to believe in make-believe, from the Pilgrims to P. T. Barnum to Disneyland to zealots of every stripe...to Donald Trump. In this sweeping, eloquent history of America, Kurt Andersen demonstrates that what's happening in our country today - this strange, post-factual, "fake news" moment we're all living through - is not something entirely new, but rather the ultimate expression of our national character and path.

Historia
How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

A Story Worth Listening
Revisado: 06-13-20
I received much more than I expected. Very well done. Hearing first hand from the people in the stories, the news clips, reenactment, and Malcolm's conclusions crafted from well drawn out studies and precedents made this riveting. I learned more through this method of story telling than if it were in traditional form.
