I am shocked at how surprised I was at the ending. I usually figure things out. I was gobsmacked at the ending. The performance is meh, but the story is well worth it. Bravo!

A very entertaining story with great performances. The cast was top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed the time with these characters. I did t see the ending coming and that makes me so happy.

Delightful

The story was delightful and excellently written from the perspective of a 12 year old. Sean Patrick Reilly was EXCEPTIONAL. I'd listen to him read the dictionary. This isn't Artemis Fowl and shouldn't be compared to him. It's the reality-based adventures of a youth with descriptive, beautiful passages about the people and places around him as well as the events that unfold.

Ok story ... AWESOME narration.

It's Eliza Dushku's reading that makes this book. In another's voice the story and its heroine might have come off naive and implausible. But Eliza's reading is dead-on, making the listener feel like a friend is confiding in them. It's a fun book perfect for listening with a hot tea on a cold winter's day.

Summer Fun

Janet Evanovich does it again. Great new lead character and a great deal of fun. It's not rocket science but it's a great diversion for when you're stuck in traffic.CJ is an awesome reader too.

Great story ... unfinished book

I loved these characters in Patterson's two "grown up" books. Max is awesome. The story is even better, but just as it got going, it was over. Really seemed like half a book to me. Didn't JK Rowling teach other authors that kids books don't have to be short?

You'll definitely enjoy the book, you'll just hate when it's over.

The Truth

Armageddon, as well as all the books in the Left Behind Series, are about love, tolerance, and the belief that Jesus Christ died for our sins. It's a simple concept and you don't have to agree with it to enjoy the books. The characters are complex, the technology is advanced and the storyline keeps your attention. There's nothing racist in these books, when you consider the diversity of the core group of people, you see just the opposite. These books show that everyone brings something to the table, everyone has something to offer, and sometimes you just have to stand up for what you believe in, even if that means risking your life.

If you've read the books, I highly recommend listening to the "experience" audio rather than the unabridge. Absolutely outstanding, moving and heart changing.

Between good & great; not excellent

The reader is better, but still not the correct voice of Stephanie. Lorelei's attempts at male voices are very poor. Yet, the story itself is laugh-out-loud funny. Stephanie Plum rocks!
