The male reader sucks. Whoever picked him made an awful choice . Only got better in last book, not much better but still I

This “apocalyptic “ novel was perfect as another one I read....Swan Song by John Galsworthy. In its own way, Daniel H. Wilson wrote an entertaining story of hubris, survival and redemption that is entertaining and yet feels feasible. Well done! You should’ve stopped this universe with this book. I’m not that eager to be scared as well as entertained with Argos again. Thank you,

No Jane Yellowrock movie can do justice to these reads! Waiting on the next book in the series or the new series starring a grown Angie Baby! Kudos Faith Hunter!

… claptrap about life philosophically woven sneakily into a good story. Not a great story but not a time waster for a sci-fi fan. Well written story....just not something to rave about. Performance, excellent, story, good beginning, intriguing middle,, satisfactory ending.

The female narrator is too clipped/precise

The story line is intriguing. The characters are realistic and young adults. Not a book for readers over 40 as technology is realistically portrayed in the characters life. The cellphone messages portrayal stretches the length of the book but cuts too shortly the realistic time narratives and in between of plots. The female lead portrayed by the narrators readings are precise to the point of irritation. Don’t know why this book is not labeled YA Romance. Irritating dancing around erotic situations, hope the final culmination is worth the build up.

...culminated in the best of paranormal and success of characters development and plot. What a great start! Here’s hoping she continues to write with such depth and style. If I don’t read the coming novels (which is not going to happen), I would be happy with this story arc’s conclusion.

Lorelei King cannot stop narrating Thompson novels

I'm going blind. What little sight I have I struggle in using judiciously. I miss reading so much. Yet, from the first, a long time fan of Patricia Briggs, I fell in love with the inflection and tone of Lorelei's reading! I felt just as absorbed in the characters as if I was reading it myself. Thank you Ms. King for your vocal performances and clarity. Thank You Patricia Briggs for writing characters that are so real! I love the humor, the intrinsic quality of otherworld characters , whose integration into the "human" world are as real and as complicated as aliens of another "country" would be and yet the fantasy and surprises of magic and the unknown keeps one on their toes. This book keeps you invested in the universe that is Mercy Thompson's. Brava!
