The wind in the willows
Revisado: 03-25-19
This was a really good book to ReDiscover. I had watched this in cartoon form as a child and wanted to watch it again in my mind as an adult. The reading was superb. One of the best stand-alone performances I've heard in audible. It's good enough to sit and relax to and calm enough to dose to, and entertaining enough to laugh to.

Historia
"While the history books are filled with tales of obsessive visionary geniuses who remade the world in their images with sheer, almost irrational force, I've found that history is also made by individuals who fought their egos at every turn, who eschewed the spotlight, and who put their higher goals above their desire for recognition." Science caught up with the psychic readings of Edgar Cayce when it proved that all of materiality—consisting of atoms and therefore protons, neutrons, and electrons—is energy in motion. Everything is a vibration, all of life releases vibrations, and even locations have their own vibrations.

Historia
Philosophy begins with questions about the nature of reality and how we should live. These were the concerns of Socrates, who spent his days in the ancient Athenian marketplace asking awkward questions, disconcerting the people he met by showing them how little they genuinely understood. This engaging book introduces the great thinkers in Western philosophy and explores their most compelling ideas about the world and how best to live in it.

By age 12, Luis Rodriguez was a veteran of East L.A. gang warfare.
