Ugh!

I say ugh because I just want more! The story is well developed and I’ve enjoyed this 2 book series. Am I selfish for wanting more? Yeah. Probably. But that’s just what Beneath the Roots & White Bird has done to me.

I’m definitely going to check out this authors other works as well and kudos to the narrator for guiding this story so well.

My only dislike with this book and it isn’t even really that big of a deal is the accent the narrator gives the Tennessee officers. I don’t know why but it just irked me but not enough to dislike the narrator.

Yesss!

Such a great book to play in the car when traveling with your youngins, perfect for the season as Halloween is approaching. My son was so entertained and I think I’ve created another RL Stine fan.

Keep in mind the targeted audience is geared toward younger children. This isn’t going to give them nightmares nor will it have adults checking the locks on their doors but it’s definitely nostalgic.

I wanted so much to fall inlove with this book as much as I love the series and I just couldn’t get into it. The book jumped around and sometimes I was just confused as to what was going on and it couldn’t hold my interest. Maybe in the future I’ll attempt to give it another listen but for now...

I was really disappointed in this book. It wasn’t my favorite king novel but it wasn’t a complete waste of time. Just isn’t something I’d talk about with a friend.

I listened to this story after seeing the movie and as always, the book is always better! I’ve recently gotten my son into audiobooks and he’s enjoying this book as his first listen.

I’d recommend this book to anyone. I’m not one for love stories but I figured I’d give this a go. I’m not disappointed in my decision.

This whole story includes real life situations that some kids go through in school with bullying wrapped with a warming story of 2 kids who came together through a tragedy and survived another together. If I had to compare it to anything it would be a mix between, A Walk to Remember & 13 Reasons Why mixed with its own story. Give it a listen.

Incredible.

It wasn’t at all what I expected it to be.

I’ve enjoyed this book immensely. The beginning of the book started out leaving you with questions and having to listen to more in order to find out the answers. I wasn’t able to stop listening and finished it in one sitting.

I’m looking forward to a second book and I will be checking out other works from this author.

Excellent adventure

I love the fantasy genre though I’ll admit it’s been awhile since I’ve read any...

And then I was given the opportunity to listen to this and wow. I’m hooked. The story, the characters, the details.. it really gets you hooked. The narrator is fantastic. Definitely check this book out, you will not regret it.
