Great book

Really gets down to the nit and grit of child rearing. I think that it is something that should be appreciated for what it is, a solid book with solid advice, especially for first time parents.

The author writes as though we are children

I guess this book gets you ready for the long haul of pregnancy by being extremely long. It takes about 9 months to get through the whole thing, but I've been pacing it along with my wife's pregnancy so it's been understandable and meaningful.
