Historia
The Winter Queen of Faerie has manipulated Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden into accepting a case to solve a murder and stop a war between the courts of Summer and Winter that could have literally earth shattering consequences. His own soul is up for grabs. Dresden must dig deep to discover that at time a willingness to accept a little help from your friends, be they a cub pack of werewolves, old loves in sheep's clothing, or a battalion of pizza loving dewdrop fairies, is a very good thing.

Fantastic book!
Revisado: 10-04-24
Given the themes and setting for this third book, I did not know if I was going to like it as much as the others so far. I was pleasantly surprised. This book is epic.

What secrets lie ahead? The drow are determined to find out, and they’ll stop at nothing to dismantle the very structure they’ve called home.

Um.. What?
Revisado: 10-03-23
The great Victor Bevine is amazing as always, but the rest of this audio book leaves a lot to be desired. I restarted this thing three times and re-downloaded it twice because I honestly thought I had missed/skipped over several chapters. This isn't a passer by review, I'm a huge fan, and avid reader and listener of Salvatore, but I honestly feel cheated. This felt like the funding or desire ran out and we got the Game of Thrones TV ending

Another great installment
Revisado: 05-07-21
Once you get past the the change of narrators, it really isn’t so jarring. I think Mr. Bramhall did a fine job, but can’t understand how, when narrating a book that is a part of such a huge collection, apparently didn’t take time to perfect how names and places had been pronounced previously. It is awkward at first, but worth bearing with it.

From heroes to anti-heroes, RAS is a master!
Revisado: 06-06-19
R.A. Salvatore and Victor Bevine bring The Forgotten Realms to life again with a tale of shadow and intrigue and action. This novel continues the pairing of Artemis and Jarlaxle, and the mercenary band Bregan D’aerthe as they weave a web on and under the dangerous streets of Calimport. Twists, turns, surprises and betrayals abound as well as unexpected alliances. Another wonderful book by Mr. Salvatore, and another brilliant performance by the talented Mr. Bevine.

Historia
It's normal for Charles Bainbridge, chief inspector of Scotland Yard, to be called to the scene of a crime, but this is the third murder in quick succession where the victim's chest has been cracked open and their heart torn out. Bainbridge suspects there's a symbolic reason for the stolen hearts, so he sends for supernatural specialist Sir Maurice Newbury and his determined assistant, Miss Veronica Hobbes. Unfortunately, neither of them are in much shape to take the case....

While a little too predictable, it was still most entertaining. I very much enjoyed the characters, but would like to see them develop more. Looking forward to the next installment.

Historia
Despite constant efforts to declutter your home, do papers still accumulate like snowdrifts and clothes pile up like a tangled mess of noodles?Japanese cleaning consultant Marie Kondo takes tidying to a whole new level, promising that if you properly simplify and organize your home once, you'll never have to do it again. Most methods advocate a room-by-room or little-by-little approach, which doom you to pick away at your piles of stuff forever.

Great ideas, great process but very repetitive. I felt as though the book was skipping and to previously covered material
