"Sweet Memories"
Revisado: 10-07-22
This book "Sweet Memories" was well written by the author, James Neville and narrated by Eric Jenkins. They did a wonderful job. The information shared was on an elementary level where you could understand and could gleam from the information, especially if you find yourself in a similar situation. The research was very educational and informative as well. One of the most important lessons taught in this book: how in the midst of dealing with a tragedy, disappointment, death, how you were going to make it, it makes it a lot more manageable when you have a relationship with God. Another lesson: life will happen and the question and answer will be, "How are you going to handle what life brings your way?" You will have to make a choice. Another lesson: weigh the pros/cons in making a life changing decision, whether it is for you or another person. Make sure you are making that decision based on facts and not with your heart. You have to know your physical as well as your mental limitations. Also, it is not where you begin in life, it is how you can change it for the better. Where you come from is not who you are. If the conditions were not great, that gives you an opportunity to break the generational curse and be that change agent and make a change that would further enhance your life and maybe the lives of others. This book also shared the love of a mother and her sons. As she aged, the reverse role of caring, nourishing, providing and protecting was displayed as her sons becomes her caregiver. A beautiful relationship between a mother and her sons, very rare today.
