Delightfully funny and exciting
Revisado: 04-16-25
Loved this book. I don’t know how to explain it. It’s unlike most things I’ve ever read. The science fiction is fun, but not to be taken seriously. The wit and sarcasm is on point and perfect.

Historia
Forty thousand years ago, humanity fled a dying Earth. Traveling in massive arkships, these brave pioneers spread out across the galaxy to find a new home. After traveling thousands of light-years, one fleet of arkships arrived at Centauri, a dense cluster of stars with a vast array of potentially habitable planets. The survivors of Earth signaled to the remaining arkships that humanity had finally found its new home among the stars.

The complexity of the story and the characters
Revisado: 10-01-24
Not John Lee best performance. Sometimes it was hard to distinguish which character was talking because they sounded a little too similar.

Had it’s moments
Revisado: 08-22-23
I really enjoyed this book. It had its moments where I really empathize with the characters and actually paused my daily activities to listen more deeply as to what happened in the story. It also had its moments that were a little ridiculous and outlandish. I believe this book would be good For teenagers and young adults as well as anybody up for a good story. There was very little swearing and no real adult themes.

Historia
Charlie Garner has a bad feeling. His ex-wife, Meg, has been missing for over a week and one quick peek into her home shows all her possessions packed up in boxes. Neighbors claim she’s running from bill collectors, but Charlie suspects something more sinister is afoot. Meg was last seen working at the local donut shop, a business run by a shadow group most refer to as ‘The Saucer People’; a space-age, evangelist cult who believe their compound to be the site of an extraterrestrial Second Coming.

Decent story, ok casting, bad producer
Revisado: 03-30-23
The story was pretty good, and I felt like the casting of the characters voices was good most of the time, except for a few. The biggest problem with his audiobook was that the producer obviously had the narrators separated in time and space. At times it seemed to jerky and halting. Other times characters did not understand the emotions and tone of the conversation. The worst part was probably the last few chapters were. The main narrator was apparently in a echo chamber. It did not match the rest of the book at all. I would recommend re-recording the last few chapters. All in all I enjoyed the book and it was worth the daily deal price.

Good story terrible sound editor
Revisado: 12-24-19
The story was typical Lincoln and child writing which is very good and entertaining as well as informative. This book reminded me a little bit of Michael Crichton in a away. For those who gave the narration only one star I agree. However it was not the narrator‘s fault but the sound editor instead. The narrator himself did a fine job except for the pronunciation of a few things as well as acronyms. The editing however was terrible. The game was up way too high and it times you could tell when the narrator headset back from the microphone. These things should’ve been caught in production. The beginning of the book is the worst after that it is marginal at best. However it is listenable and a good story

Best of the series!
Revisado: 04-19-16
This was a great end to the trilogy. It was easy to follow with unexpected and significant twists and turns. If your a fan of the series you know that the language is moderate to semi-strong. This book is in the fashion of a dystopian novel but may not be for the ages generally associated with them. I'm 33 and thought this was a great book. I found myself listening all day and setting the sleep timer at night. If you buy this book I only have one thing to say... enjoy!
