Good story, but no Dick Hill.

The story was good, but the narrator doesn't do it justice. Dick Hill was the best narrator, he got the nuances and feeling of tough Jack Reacher, but this new guy makes Reacher seem like a typical guy.

I finished the book in 2 days...I couldn't stop myself! Great narration from Oliver Wyman. I liked the new style of writing Correia uses from the point of view of Franks and how the timeline is not in chronological order...makes you think and I liked the way it all ties in at the end.

Would you listen to Heart-Shaped Box again? Why?
Hauntingly well-written and performed! I had a hard time sleeping because the story was so real, but I loved every second of it! I don't scare easily, but the author and narrator brought the story to life and I felt that I was also haunted. Not for the faint of heart.
