Historia
Apparently, time-travel spells have a sense of humor and don’t take direction well. Mei Li could’ve done with knowing that beforehand and fully blames Shunlei for not forewarning her. Instead of going back a few years to rescue the missing tomes, Mei Li finds herself thousands of years in the past, with the original events she needs to learn about still 10 years into the future. She is stuck in a hurry-up-and-wait pattern she doesn’t appreciate.

Another fast paced whirlwind of a story. I hope to see more world building for the side characters in the next book.

Historia
Ellie Masters comes out of a coma to find herself the only inhabitant of an eerily empty moon station. She’s not on Earth any more; she’s not even in the right solar system. So when someone reaches out to her, tells her he’s her friend, she’s happy to believe it. The alternative is to be stuck alone with an enemy. Renn Sorvihn has been chasing a rogue Tecran ship for over a month. But when Renn follows the Tecran ship into an uncharted sector, and realizes the Tecran have been working their way to a secret moon base, he suddenly understands things are not as they seem.

Another great story.
Revisado: 09-11-22
I was hoping for this story, honestly the ending of a previous book mad me sad and this book changed it to what I hoped it to be. My only complaint is that you really didn't get to explore the galaxy the book is on a single moon. I understand why but really wish I could see other cultures and people. one of the few pieces this series lacks for me is friendships that aren't their love interests, an AI or a fellow human. This improves a little with the motley crew. But at the same time I want to see other alien species. We saw it with the first book but progressively less since then. There's no shipping of any of the side characters.

Every mortal who works at network headquarters knows that vampires reside below them. They were the first to surrender to the powerful Immortal Guardians who hunt them. And they did so, hoping they can be saved, that the doctors and scientists the Immortal Guardians employ can halt the progressive brain damage that robs all vampires of their sanity. Though curious, Emma never thought she would meet any of the vampires who remain under heavy guard several stories beneath her office. Then mercenaries strike, bombarding the building with heavy artillery.

Least Favorite Story
Revisado: 08-07-21
This story isn't necessarily bad but It also isn't necessarily. I don't think a single new aspect of the relationship was added. I didn't realize just how well documented Cliffs personality and relationship was in the other books until I read this. It didn't bring anything new to the story, world or characters. It doesn't even add more to the other vampires and cliffs relationships with thim. So this story was very anticlimactic for me.

I have loved all of the books in this series but this one was the most disappointing of the stories. The ending of this book was EXTREMELY unsatisfying. If you're going to take such a wild leap in the world building of a long series like this you really need to plan it out. Hopefully future books will fix what this book starts. If so my opinion of this book will change but, wow I really hated the ending of this book. The fact that so many families have unknowingly been split from each other with no true resolutions. The idea that these chosen few are ok with abandoning their families in a world where family bonds are felt on a spiritual level?! The idea that of this couple the one who was most disturbed by the experience won't recognize it and his partner must keep it a secret. VERY VERY UNSATISFYING!!!

Historia
All his life, Rand T’Ash has looked forward to meeting his HeartMate, with whom he could begin a family. Once a street tough, now a respected nobleman and artisan, he has crafted the perfect HeartGift, which, in the custom of the psychically gifted population of the planet Celta, is the way a man finds—and attracts—his wife… Danith Mallow is irresistibly drawn to the magnificent necklace on display in T’Ash’s shop, but she is wary of its creator, despite an overpowering attraction. In a world where everyone is defined by their psychic ability, Danith has little, placing her at the opposite end of the social spectrum from T’Ash. But T’Ash refuses to accept her rejection and sees it as a challenge instead. They are HeartMates, but can T’Ash persuade his beloved to accept her destiny by his side?

Working at a Suicide Prevention Center in San Francisco, Lily Goodwill thinks she's heard it all - then she gets a call from a man about to jump off the Golden Gate Bridge. Something about the caller, maybe his yummy British accent or Lily's ability to understand his crushing ennui, makes her break all the rules and rush to meet him. After all, she is a vampire and if she can't talk him down she can glamour him. But things don't go according to plan.

ANNOYING
Revisado: 04-28-20
First I really disliked the overly detailed and flowery way this was written. The talented narrator does it justice and that makes listening to it all the more annoying.
Second ever heard the phrase crap or get off the pot?? The painfully slow tug a war between the two love interests was awful. No good looking and self respecting man is going to continue pursuing a woman who is constantly making out with another man. Newsflash if you can't choose between two guys it means you're attracted to both but not in love with eather of them.

Not as good as the first
Revisado: 05-19-19
I'm not a big fan of the Heroine in this one.
1) Talk about a food snob, actually anything fancy snob. food is food and clothing is clothing. It's just soooooo annoying.
2) She makes a promise to call her man when she's in trouble. she is in trouble but doesn't call him to protect him. seems fine right. . .except in the previous book we find out he Is the strongest demon on earth. Have faith in your man and keep your promise. Who ends up having to apologize? you guessed it he does.

The main heroine should have been likeable but strangely wasn't. I found her character annoying and repetitive. The story itself was too overwhelming dramatic and not in a good way.😑 just disappointing because I have loved all of the previous books.

Very well written but very unlikable heroine
Revisado: 12-21-18
This was a fun story but I can't help but feel the heroine was the biggest weakness. She is weak. she never really takes responsibility for her own actions or control of her life. Some how the hero always is portrayed as the villain for not responding better in the situations in the story. overall the story is a fun read despite the underwhelming character of the heroine.
