I made it through this first book, cringing at the narration, thinking the second book would be better, but the story line!!!! Wow, how do these handsome Aristoes fall for the worst nagging, spiteful, mean girls?!?! I didn’t want to waste another 6 hours of my hearing listening to this drivel!

Wow, compared to the previous in this series, this story lacked so much! With the exception of a multitude of senseless chatter and numerous characters each with a special ability. Not worth the discounted fee!

Storyline is ridiculous! So, a women inherits a company she tries to go international with, meets a billionaire in business class…(eye roll) she’s insulted and pushes him away at a later date, and he’s enthralled bc she then insults him and refuses to conduct business with him bc he didn’t divulge his true identity?!?! I believe the Alien romance books are better!

Lily is not my favorite character.

I enjoyed Verakkos strength in previous books, he lost a bit of his mojo in his own story, Lily is just plain stupid, for someone supposedly outdoorsy and knowledgeable in flora and fauna, she’s pretty stoopid on an alien planet and interactions with a variety of alien people shows her stubborn arrogance.

Drawn out

Drawn out and slow, not as good as books 1&2. Unfortunately, book 3 lacked luster, the characters didn’t have the kind of connection the other two books had. And the characters whole persona switched as the book languished on. She became aggressive and he became passive, not attractive in a romantic hero…

All inner dialogue

The first boxed set was an easy listen, not too bad but this next set is all inner dialogue between the characters! No thank you! Also the female voice sounds too nasally and in one chapter the male leads thoughts “ he was hard at the sound of her raspy morning voice saying his name” then you hear a Fran Dreshers “the nanny” sitcom voice whine at him for something. LOL I returned the whole set!

I enjoyed this listen, but I felt it was too short. And would have enjoyed more of the main character relationship building because the chemistry between the two was well written and should have been expounded upon. Also, more steamy scenes could have been peppered in…
