Romance?
Revisado: 02-21-25
I really enjoyed the story. They tried to add more "romance" than the last few books. More than what I think it needed, but not to much to where it took away from the story. I just hope the next book won't go any further in that direction and stay true it its game/rpg elements.

Well, it started good
Revisado: 02-09-25
I liked how the first few books went. This book is taking the Harem route and more towards drama. Some of the characters are making irrational decisions which is irritating. It's like the Author is forcing the Drama.

Historia
Jiran is just a child when he receives shattered, imperfect memories of a past life. Nestled inside these emotionless visions is a magic very different to the density and mana he knows, the magic of science. The empire stands alone against the relentless beasts of Madra. Their only means of survival is harnessing the density that saturates her surface, a magic they cannot possibly understand. Will Jiran realize he holds the key to unlocking humanity's infinite potential before they are all wiped out?

This Scratched an itch
Revisado: 01-03-25
I have always thought what it would be like to reincarnate with my current memories. Would my memories make me overpowered? I sure hope so! This story is just that, an Overpowered MC that I daydream myself being.
I just finished the 3rd book and they are consistant. I would recommend to anyone who likes Overpowered MC's with a steady progression speed that doesnt contain a harem.

The book was good but not very fulfilling. The quality is still as great as the other books but the story doesn't progress very far. The book is still very entertaining and very enjoyable. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Lack of common sense
Revisado: 10-29-24
I was really enjoying the way this series was going. I listened to the first book about 2 years ago and really enjoyed it. I started to listen to them again to continue the series, but by the time I got to this book I was thinking that this MC has no common sense. He has no memory (said in the first book), yet he acts like he's a know it all and refuses to listen to others advice! He knows nothing!! Why doesnt he listen!!!!! An example - Theres a long line in front of a dungeon which no one is entering, Random guy - "Hey, you shouldnt go in there!" MC - " I dont care, im going to go in there." MC gets into the dungeon, MC - "Oh, thats why they told me not to go into the dungeon." .... Dumbass. The MC lacks common sense and is only alive due to plot armor.

I really look forward to this series. I can't wait for the next one. While I can see what the other reviews say about the narration style, I really don't mind it. The style is consistent and the same as the other 4 books.

Brin is scarred, but no longer alone. After giving up his evil Rare Class in exchange for the simple and common Glasser, he’s finally been accepted by the people of Hammon’s Bog. But acceptance doesn't guarantee safety. Mirrors and glass spearheads offer little protection against threats both outside and within. An army of undead is lurking in the surrounding forest, cutting them off from the rest of the world. There’s no rescue in sight, and worse, no one knows why the army is there or when it will attack.

Great Narration style
Revisado: 10-14-24
I really enjoy Johnathan McClains Narration style for this book. It has the same type of humorous style as Noobtown and Bens Damn Adventure. The story is well done and the class system is very interesting. The book hinted that classes can keep evolving, so I'm hoping that the next book will show the MC with more class progression on the next book.

To Invested
Revisado: 10-14-24
I really enjoyed the couple of books. The books started to get really repetitive and drawn out and had me wanting to know what was next; i feel like the book should be compacted down. I ended up skipping every other chapter because of how drawn out it was. I just wanted to know what was going to happen next with the MC and his situation, but it felt like hours of filler was between me and the answers I wanted. I should have stopped at book 3, but I'm too invested now.

Historia
D.E.D. Exorcists is the latest Augmented Reality mobile game focused on capturing, collecting, and training teams of Digitally Energized Demons. For an ordinary college student like Henry, who has always loved monster-taming RPGs, it looks like the perfect game. At least, until he downloads it. Now, the monsters are real. Henry finds himself forcibly recruited into the very real D.E.D. Exorcists: a shadow organization capable of capturing, training, and subduing the real-life demons that are invading Earth.

Persona
Revisado: 10-14-24
This book is practically Persona. I LOVE PERSONA. Without spoiling the story, people are able to "capture" D.E.Ds, which are practically Personas and they fight with them. The Performance was well done but the friend J.J's voice annoyed the $#^t out of me. I felt the story was kind of a Fanfic knock off or new episode of Persona, which was interesting but not what i was expecting. Overall, it was an entertaining listen. 4 out of 5 stars.
