Charming and honest
Revisado: 02-19-24
This was quite a journey through the years. I can see myself rereading this down the road. A very generous biography. You will laugh, you will cry. You will think, you will sigh. I’ve been a fan of Patricks since Star Trek Next Generation. I was lucky enough to see him perform his one man show of The Christmas Carol in 1994. A performance I was in complete awe of and still refer to it as one of the best performances I’ve seen. It was wonderful being able to hear from the author himself about his childhood and journey through acting.

Historia
Antonia Case, the co-founder of New Philosopher and Womankind magazines, quits her corporate job in the city and, with her partner, travels across the world in search of meaning. In a quest to find answers, she turns off the soundtrack of the media, rids herself of technology, and with little more than books as carry-on luggage, she journeys from Buenos Aires to Paris, from Barcelona to Byron Bay, seeking guidance from ancient philosophers and modern-day psychologists on what is a good life, and what is a life worth living.

Historia
Every child knows the allure of climbing trees. But how many of us get to make a living at it, spending days observing nature from the canopies of stunning forests all around the world? As a wildlife cameraman for the BBC and National Geographic, James Aldred spends his working life high up in trees, poised to capture key moments in the lives of wild animals and birds. Aldred's climbs take him to the most incredible and majestic trees in existence. In Borneo, home to the tallest tropical rain forest on the planet, just getting a rope up into the 250-foot-tall trees is a challenge.
