I continued listening to this book because of the character, Strike and because of the narrator. Otherwise, ir was a non story. Nothing has happened in the first 4 hours and 18 hours more of it is unbearable. This is without a doubt, a "man's book" in the way of Jim Harrison, Hemingway, Cormac McCarthy and Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

A Lovely Revenge Book

Like the film Memento, and David Ellis' book In The Company of Liars, this book goes back and forth in time and it may take some concentration. Worth it. And, for those of us with revenge fantasies, it's a nice piece of work. Keep writing David Langercrantz, and stay safe. The beauty of a book like this is that one can listen again and again and it's always new.

Posted this to Facebook: To my dog lover friends... there is a book. Suspect by Robert Crais is about a military dog in civilian life. I'm listening to it for maybe the 6th, 7th time, in love with the story and grateful to Audible for giving us an experience that one cannot get by just reading, MacLeod Andrews as narrator who gives it an amazing dimension. It's worth joining Audible just for this book!

The book, Cold Moon by Jeffrey Deaver is an ugly experience for women and probably for good men.The violence against women is part of the story but also added as gratuitous stories the protagonist and others tell each other. The only reasons an author would do this is nasty exhibition. Who is he trying to please?

be outlawed and only women doing violence to men should be written. This book is
absolutely disgusting. I'm a trauma nurse and you just don't get it!
