Historia
A true story as exhilarating as a great spy thriller, as turbulent as today's headlines from the Middle East, A Time to Betray reveals what no other previous CIA operative's memoir possibly could: the inner workings of the notorious Revolutionary Guards of Iran, as witnessed by an Iranian man inside their ranks who spied for the American government.

Brings Light to Iranian Mindset
Revisado: 02-12-16
The author provides first hand insight into the wide range of political views within Iran both before and after the revolution. His perspective of Western influence in the Middle East presents an eye opening picture of appeasement and arms deals. Covering a period of 50 years, you are presented with the contrast of the Reign of Shaw versus the radical Islamic Regime under the Ayatollahs. Proving that any form of government that allows for concentration of power in any form leads to corruption and a willingness to keep that power at any price.

Historia
Throughout the Gulf War of 1991, unprecedented restrictions on the media’s access to the battlefield kept the true story of that brief, brutal conflict from being told. Now, after two years of intensive research, Rick Atkinson has written what will surely come to be recognized as the definitive chronicle of the war.

Thorough and Entertaining
Revisado: 01-18-16
While the Gulf War occurred in my lifetime and I have had the opportunity to view a number of documentaries on the events, this narrative provides an insight into the personalities that is not covered elsewhere. The most revealing is that of General Schwarzkopf as a primadonna. This was surprising to me, as he was presented as an iconic figure in post Desert Storm America.
