Excellent novel!!!
Revisado: 05-21-24
I have read many David Baldacci books but have to say this was one of his best works. The story deals with so much racial tension and clearly shows the different treatments of blacks versus whites. Just very in tune with today’s America. Absolutely loved this book!! David B you nailed it !!! The narrators were superb and capture the books storyline perfectly. Loved it. A must read for all avid reader’s.

Historia
Red Tails, George Lucas’s celebration of America’s first Black flying squadron, the Tuskegee Airmen, should have been a moment of victory for Doug Melville. He expected to see his great-uncle Benjamin O. Davis Jr.—the squadron’s commander—immortalized on-screen for his selfless contributions to America. But as the film rolled, Doug was shocked when he realized that Ben Jr.’s name had been omitted and replaced by the fictional Colonel A. J. Bullard. And Ben’s father, Benjamin O. Davis Sr., America’s first Black general who helped integrate the military, was left out completely.

Revisado: 05-12-24
Excellent history lesson on how to open doors for others when the odds are stacked so heavily against you. The Invisible Generals was an inspirational story and should be a must read for ALL AMERICANS!! I am so proud of the author his tenacity to bring these 2 Generals story to life his family legacy. I loved it and gave the book out as gifts to my friends who served in the army but had no comprehensiveness knowledge of these Generals of what that they did to pave the way for all minorities in the military. Total Trail Blazers.!!!!!!

The truth and the facts!!!
Revisado: 03-24-24
Loved the book very concise and detailed. I commend Liz and her colleagues for standing up For what is right and defending the constitution despite political blow back. It was heart wrenching to listen to the testimony of the Capital police and quite disappointing to see that her own party kicked her to the curb for speaking her truth. America is not a one person regime. Everyone should read this book. Well done Ms. Cheney for explaining January 6 with first hand knowledge. I may not agree with your policies but I am proud of you as a woman to write such a profound book!!

Historia
Before Jeffrey Boakye was a Black teacher, he was a Black student. Which means he has spent a lifetime navigating places of learning that are white by default. Since training to teach, he has often been the only Black teacher at school. At times seen as a role model, at others a source of curiosity, Boakye’s is a journey of exploration—from the outside looking in. In the groundbreaking I Heard What You Said, he recounts how it feels to be on the margins of the British education system.

Revisado: 06-23-23
Totally enjoyed this book well written. As a product of a English Birmingham early education whereby in 1960 there were only 2 black kids in the school my brother and I. Totally can identify then there were a total of 5 non whites who were always bullied by our white class mates. Born in England of Jamaican immigrant parents. My parents left England and returned to Jamaica in 1969. Where I am proud to say we had excellent black teachers and role models who looked like us for our high school years. Then we moved to USA 10 years later for College and racism reared its ugly head again. However glad I had the opportunity to be schooled in 3 different education system’s definitely taught me well on how to navigate the privileged system. However reading the book very disappointing to see progress has been very slow for black and brown folks. Until the past histories along with systematic racism is taught and understood change will never happen. Thanks for continually shining a spotlight on the systematic unfairness in the education system that is still prevalent to our black and brown children. Keep up the good work!!!
