Historia
This captivating narrative follows Father Michael Dominic, the esteemed Prefect of the Vatican’s Secret Archives, as he uncovers a remarkable artifact lost to time—Leonardo da Vinci’s most ingenious invention, the Celestial Guardian. Initially heralded as a divine instrument capable of forecasting a catastrophic asteroid bound for Earth, Father Dominic's discovery soon unravels a more ominous reality: the Guardian’s ability to not just predict, but alter celestial events.

absurd plot
Revisado: 04-06-24
I certainly like creative writing but this plot is absurd and there is no chemistry amongst the main characters as in the previous books. I can't recommend this one.

Charming story. The writing and narration superb once again in this new series. I enjoyed that it connects with previous characters.

Historia
The discovery of a young woman’s body drifting down the Thames, her hair adorned with flowers and her legs wrapped in blue silk like a mermaid’s tail, presents Lord Jason Redmond and Inspector Daniel Haze with a puzzling new mystery. Who was she, why was she murdered, and what led the killer to leave her body displayed this way? Was it an act of love, meant to make the victim appear beautiful in death, or was there a more sinister reason?

Disappointed
Revisado: 09-24-23
I'm sorry to say that I won't be going forward in the series. Very dark turn of events and changing the narrator on book 11 just doesn't work.

No Act 2 lag!
Revisado: 09-02-22
I must agree with everyone else that Daniel's whispering voice is just too low and muffled to properly hear without raising the volume when he speaks. The story carries through without lag and the arc for each main character continues to grow.
