Historia
I protected my country. Protected my platoon. Now all I wanted to protect was her. Too bad that wasn’t an option. I couldn’t fall for the beautiful slip of a female. The baby sister of my brother’s new mate. She was way too young. Way too human. Still in college. And too bright a force of nature. She had her whole life ahead of her. And I had the Green Berets begging me to reenlist. My wolf...he wanted her. But if I let her go without claiming her, I might not survive the moon madness.

Hot scenes and good character development
Revisado: 11-08-24
I really like this series so far. This book got right to the point which was what I was looking for when I searched paranormal erotica lol. But the story is good too. This book hits some different tastes than the first one, I think intentionally. The characters are thoughtful and intelligent. I had to keep checking to see if the narration was AI because of the odd inflections. The reader’s voice is pleasant, but she reads sentences oddly, like how ai sounds when reading a sentence you wrote. Not my favorite, but still very enjoyable.

The story is so creative
Revisado: 03-16-24
I listened to this last fall right when it came out and I think I have thought about it at least 3 times a week ever since. The action is spot on, Spike is still shirty, which I appreciate, and I love that the Cordelia character is different, but still is still fully developed into being a lynchpin of her own universe.

The detail of the historical events were fantastic
Revisado: 01-23-24
Walker’s writing style and obvious painstaking research into history are wonderful. The readers were also really clear and their inflections were great. This was the first time I listened to an audio book and I’ll be downloading the next book in the series!
