Historia
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.

Fun listen, Mostly stories about his youth.
Revisado: 05-30-24
I was inspired to listen to Greenlights after listening to Matthew McConaughey on a podcast with some smart...less hosts (IDK if it'll get flagged for saying it). He seemed very insightful full of life and well, full of stories. And he is. Greenlights is about his youth and how you pretty much got to where he is now. Which is great, the narration is fun and in a way you'd expect from Matthew McConaughey. But know that he doesn't dig into his career or share on-set stories it's mostly his memories of his younger life. The stories are fun, learning about his life lessons and his inspirations and that's about where the books ends.

Historia
Most people are fearful of change because they don't have any control over how or when it happens to them. Since change happens either to the individual or by the individual, Dr. Spencer Johnson uses a simple story to show that when it comes to living in a changing world, what matters most is your attitude. Exploring a simple way to take the fear and anxiety out of managing the future, Who Moved My Cheese? can help you discover how to anticipate, acknowledge, and accept change in order to have a positive impact on your job, your relationships, and every aspect of your life.

6 Minute Story Stretched To a Book, Not worth 1 Cr
Revisado: 05-30-24
The story is incredibly important. But it should be a chapter of an entire book of lessons. The story didn't need to be a long as it is. IMO this isn't deserving of an entire book or money from me. The people who wrote this book are taking advantage of the reader by dragging a 6 minute story into an 1 hour and 39 min book. The story itself is on the wiki page. This followed by it being narrated by people who probably narrated children's books in the 1999. "but it has such great reviews", read them. Most of them are about the lesson in the book, not the worth or value from the book itself.

Well written and funny. All while giving good back story to not only how the movie came about but the people in it. A must listen.
