Agatha does it again!
Revisado: 02-18-16
Although this is not a long story, around 1 hour 30 minutes, it's a very good story. The plot is very good and character development is top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed it and heartily recommend it.

Nice Read
Revisado: 06-22-15
I've listened to this several times. Love Mate Forbes performance. The story was not quite as good as others I've read. I thought some of the characters could have been more fully developed. Overall, a good read. I could easily recommend this book. No foul language, which is found in so many books, that would otherwise be entertaining.

Historia
Although the Stock Market had crashed recently, it was too early for most people to predict that the Great Depression was about to get underway. For 39-year-old spinster schoolteacher Hildegarde Withers, it’s business as usual. And part of her usual business is taking her class for an outing to the aquarium to see the penguins. Instead, she spots the floating corpse of Wall Street broker Gerald Lester and quickly realizes that Inspector Oscar Piper of NYPD Homicide isn’t up to solving this tricky case.

The crime-fighting careers of Hercule Poirot and Captain Hastings have come full circle—they are back once again in the rambling country house in which they solved their first murder together. Both Hercule Poirot and Great Styles have seen better days—but, despite being crippled with arthritis, there is nothing wrong with the great detective and his “little gray cells.” However, when Poirot brands one of the seemingly harmless guests a five-time murderer, some people have their doubts. Revisado: 04-18-15
have always liked Agatha Christie, but especially have I loved her Belgian detective. This story takes us full circle with Poirot and Hastings, back to Styles the scene of their first adventure together. I won't go into more detail as I don't want to give any spoilers. This is a worthy addition to your Christie library, and I highly recommend this book. Good hunting!

Great fun!
Revisado: 04-13-13
Would you consider the audio edition of Black Wind to be better than the print version?
I haven't read the book, yet. I just hope the book is as good as the audio!
What did you like best about this story?
They really kept me guessing about what was killing off everyone. I really liked that this one was more about Dirk Jr. And Summer. Of course Dirk Sr. Made an appearance later in the story.
Which character – as performed by Scott Brick – was your favorite?
Summer. If I were younger she would be to look up to.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes.
Any additional comments?
I like the character that was given Clive Cussler's name!! The narration was excellent. The pace was appropriate for what was happening at the time.

Historia
When a county employee is found shot to death in sun-drenched daylight while sitting in his county road grader, Undersheriff Bill Gastner is faced with puzzling questions. The simplest explanation - that an errant bullet from a careless target shooter’s rifle blew out Larry Zipoli’s brains - is soon discarded as inconsistencies surface. The fatal bullet shows no rifling marks, and investigation shows that the shooter walked directly toward the road grader, in full view of the victim - who did nothing to defend himself.

Overall yes. I have enjoyed all the Cat in series. While not one of her best, it was still ah god read.

As always, how she gets into these messes. Mrs Rosenblatt is not one of my favorite characters.

Didn't have a favorite scene.
Could you see Cat in a White Tie and Tails being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
Under certain circumstances I could see a movie.

Revisado: 02-03-13
Would you try another book from James M. Tabor and/or Paul Michael?
Yes I would try another book by either of these authors.
What other book might you compare The Deep Zone to and why?
Can't think of a book, but there was a movie. Very closely resembling the premise.
What does Paul Michael bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The voice stress he used was very helpful in making the urgency come through.
Do you think The Deep Zone needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
It could have a follow -up if it was drone right. I 'm generally not fond of foloe -ups, but this could be an exception
