Historia
Meet Randi Burnett—she’s brilliant, she’s beautiful, and she works for the bride. Missing groom? Intoxicated in-laws? Crying ring-bearer? You name it, she wrangles it. Too bad her personal life isn’t thriving like her side gig as a bridesmaid for hire. Recently dumped, Randi throws herself into her biggest challenge yet when she’s hired as a maid of honor and pretend best friend for an ice queen bride. There’s just one problem—the best man is infuriating, overprotective, and anti-marriage.

No, at every turn
Revisado: 02-12-25
Literally, he was very annoying. The female character loved her, loved her personality. But the male he was just very annoying. And I just had to stop it halfway through. At no point was I rooting for him?

Historia
A recent finishing school graduate, 18-year-old Garnet Cameron is desperate for direction. Too driven for the restrictive manners of the upper class, Garnet is naturally drawn to Oliver Hale, a frontier trader from the West. Unlike the men to whom she's accustomed, Oliver treats Garnet as an equal and respects her independence. His tales of adventure on the plains thrill her. And his proposal of marriage is accepted. Then Garnet discovers how ill-prepared she is for the punishing landscape of the Jubilee Trail and the even harsher realities of human nature.

Historia
Sam Walsh is hanging on by a thread. He works hard at concealing his chronic illnesses and represses the lingering pains of childhood, but he's running out of vices to distract him from his wounds. Nothing feels good anymore. Not his prize-winning work preserving historic homes, not the family that refuses to give up on him even when he's at his most self-destructive. The only thing he wants is the conservatory-trained chaos he meets in a stalled elevator car. She's the friend he never asked for and can't imagine living without. Then, she's more than a friend. She's everything.

not as good as the others
Revisado: 11-14-23
I've listened to the other stories in this series but this is the only one I've disliked so far. the female in this story is soooo annoying she literally whines about everything and is just unlikable. her personal issues take over everything

the worst narration I've heard in a long time
Revisado: 12-05-22
literally the narration ruins all of it because it's like they're struggling to read or something. there's so many pauses like they're unsure on if they want to add some expression to the narration. it is absolutely horrible. I'm not sure if I can even finish this

Loved it!
Revisado: 08-21-22
honestly, I love this author for the simple fact that they are so realistic. They don't drag out the story just to come to one conclusion or ignore the issues right in your face. some authors do that and not every person on earth is like that. some people are straightforward and more authentic. this worry was so refreshing and I fell in love with the family and the characters all over again

They drag it out
Revisado: 08-17-22
literally everyone in this town is completely damaged like this supposed to be the town of healing yet people who have lived there for years are still so damaged and they drag it out through the whole book. I'm getting exhausted of this series because when people do wrong we just keep letting it happen... and it's really like forget about everyone's feelings except for the main character. no matter what that main character does to you. the author doesn't care about anyone else's feelings. everyone is supposed to just keep being okay with it and it's not like these things just happen during this rough patch. it's like years of constant treatment

preachy unrealistic
Revisado: 08-14-22
I enjoyed the main character. I like the angle they were going for, not your typical heroin. but every time it was very preachy and judgy on all of her actions. and they avoided certain discussion points that needed to be brought up repeatedly. they're most definitely need to be more books with a disabled heroin that's not all about their disabilities

Two years ago, Olivia Martindale left behind her Montana hometown and her husband, Jace, certain it was the best decision for both of them.
