the world and magic are relatively good, but the characters and there relationships leave a lot to be desired. the abusive girl and beta male dynamic is particularly annoying. overall I feel like I should have enjoyed this more then I did, it checks a lot of boxes for me. but in the end I barely stayed interested enough to finish.

soundbooth theater does an amazing job presenting this crazy fun super hero adventure. I love that the book doesn't take itself too seriously. the humer is super satisfying. and the spicy beginnings of harem romance in intriguing

some elements come of a little shallow, but some of the character depth and story depth is just right. the overpoweredness of the main character is slightly overplayed, but still done in a mostly satisfying way.

shalow characters. unrealistic scenarios. and overall juvenile story telling. however the world is fun, and it definitely scratches that litRPG itch. the narrator miss pronounced several words and changed characters voices mid story. overall I would consider this series junk food, mildly satisfying if your in the mood but no real nutrition

great characters, fun and satisfying world building, solid emotions and story telling. it lives up to everything I've come to expect from Jim Butcher. I'm glad he took the time needed to get the story up to his standards.

Just right

after the previous book in the series I was concerned that this book series would go the way of so many others in losing their depth, quality and satisfaction. but this book brought the story back to life again. the struggle, the loss, and the victory were all satisfying. and a great setup for the story to continue. thank you for taking the time to get it right.

by far the best fiction I have ever listened to!

The diversity and depth of the characters are outstanding, pulling the reader in to emotionally invest in their personal journeys. The world itself has outstanding depth. Moreover the personal struggles and moral revelations that the characters are struggle through have profound import In our own lives. This series, and this book in particular will always have a profoundly important place in my heart and mind.
