poor reading
Revisado: 02-09-25
inflection and reading of this book was completely off. The narrator would make statement sentences into questions, sounds generated, and it's simply like listening to your worst nightmare on repeat.

Historia
Drawing from her work as a psychoanalyst and cantadora (keeper of old stories), Dr. Estes uses myths and folktales to illustrate how societies systematically strip away the feminine spirit. Through an exploration into the nature of the wild woman archetype, Dr. Estes helps listeners rediscover and free their own wild nature.

Revisado: 12-26-24
I liked the presentation of traditional folklore from cultures across the world of wild women and the explanation of archetype analysis.
