Historia
When a wealthy man first meets his mail-order bride in 1907, he realizes this statuesque beauty is anything but a "simple missionary's daughter." But he doesn't know of her devious plan to leave Wisconsin as a rich widow. Nor does she know of the furious demons he longs to unleash during the lonely months of snowbound isolation.

Historia
When Tom is invited to the reading of a will of a great-uncle he’s never heard of, there’s no way to know what to expect. But on the long list of possible things to inherit, a travelling carnival ghost train is the very last on the list. To get his full $10 million inheritance, all Tom has to do is run the antique ride until his 18th birthday. Easy. Except for a strange caped-creep he’s never met, who’s trying to con him out of the money...and the actual ghosts and ghouls who call the ride home.

Cute, great song!
Revisado: 06-29-20
Really cute book. Absolutely loved the song that played. Very catchy and now stuck in my head. The only thing I didn’t care for (and it may just be because of the translation from german to english) there were a few times where it felt like there was too much unnecessary description. Like the dusty computer cables or the actions to disconnect the gas tank. But thats just my personal opinion. Still a fun story!

Historia
Esther, a painter living in Jamaica and recovering from the death of her husband, comes across a man on a mountain road with no memory of his past. As a hurricane rushes towards the island, she shelters the handsome stranger, names him “Monty”, and tries to uncover the mystery of his missing memory. She soon finds herself falling in love with a man she barely knows, and who doesn’t even know himself. The Mountain and the Sea is a romantic tale about letting go of the past and embracing the present.

Unexpected perfection
Revisado: 05-02-20
I downloaded this story because it was free. It’s not my typical type of book. And I truly did not think I would like it. I was wrong. The author described, in my opinion, a woman’s thought process perfectly. It captured all the many emotions and thoughts that we have. I really enjoyed the story.

Historia
Welcome to the Home for Wayward and Misbegotten Creatures, an institution run by evil Miss Carbunkle, a cunning villainess who believes her terrified young charges exist only to serve and suffer. Part animal and part human, the groundlings toil in classroom and factory, forbidden to enjoy anything regular children have, most particularly singing and music. For the Wonderling, an innocent-hearted, one-eared, fox-like eleven-year-old with only a number rather than a proper name - a 13 etched on a medallion around his neck - it is the only home he has ever known.
