(No-‘body’ or NO-‘thing’ is perfect, so NO 100% (5 ⭐️s) from me!) But this is close. I almost never give a review of the 2,000 ➕ books in my audio library. I’m not a science oriented person, so I can’t give an opinion on that However, for excitement & vicarious enjoyment, I’ve seldom read or heard a better series In fact, this author is the first person, since I started reading Robert R Heinlein in high school. I’m almost 80 years old now, so it’s easier to listen, than read. Also, I can continue while I do other things, with audiobooks. Anyway, I may have to “follow” this author, because of the enjoyment of this “breakthrough”, series. Thanks for the great experience, I look forward to future books, with a lot of interest.

'Cobra' Series re-write

Anybody remember Timothy Zahn' s Cobra series? This is more of the same with 'NANOS' stuck in here and there. I wouldn't claim Plagiarism at all, but I wish I'd known before I used the 'credit'.

The story is entertaining, just think about the scene as in an alternate reality. I'm a series fan, and I have several books of this series. I'm looking forward to many more of this series. OK, the guys and girls aren't "super-heroes" and that's another good thing about the series. I can picture myself as just about any of them, but I think I should feel more fear than comes thru. Quite a bit of my personal "book budget" is invested in Audible Books, it's convenient for me to listen while I'm doing "drudge work" or relaxing between classes. I like the balance of action and dialog, but I keep thinking "what is he/she thinking about in this situation?" Or "does he have any plan of action or reaction?" If you're gonna lead a group you need a basic 'op' plan (who takes care of the car, who goes in the back, etc). for the fight. I'm interested in these guys' way of thinking. I like an "action tripod" #1, What (action), #2, Why?, and #3, How? If I got all that I might have to give 5 Stars for the first time in my life. Thank you.

A woman, writing for women?

I'm a teacher, and it's my policy to NOT give any 100%s for work done by anyone especially me. ( I figure there's always room for improvement.) I bought this book in order to try out a woman writer for a change. I sometimes find a man who seems able to think/write from what I think of as a woman's point of view. I'm old fashioned, I'd rather hear/read about "making love" rather than "having sex". Anyway, the "Spider" seems to rely on "magic healers" quite a bit. I think this "Spider" needs more technique for her specialty than she has. The story is entertaining, just think about the scene as an alternate reality. I'm a series fan, and I have five books of this series and I don't know if I'll buy any more for a while. I'm not DIS-satisfied with what I've bought so far, but they just don't seem to be my style. Thank you.
