Historia
The first thing I learned at vet school was to always expect the unexpected. Well, I sure never saw Santiago Torres or his adorable Great Dane coming. Santi is everything I’m not. Tall, confident, overbearing, and if I’m to believe his advances, he’s also very experienced in...well, you know what. I always play safe, but it’s time to ditch the V-card. We couldn’t be more different, but that doesn’t matter, because this is just a one-time thing. I’m not going to want more, right? I’m not going to fall for him, right?

Micah and Santi are too adorable!
Revisado: 04-11-22
I cannot say enough about this series from Ana Ashley. Every book has been funny and quirky in its own right but this one with all its funny animals and adorable men was my favorite. This story was not only well developed showing us the background of both Micah and Santi, but I loved how the author brought in the characters from past books to round out the how-to catch aspect of the series.
Santi is a military vet with a lot of guilt from his past while Micah is a veterinarian with some self-esteem issues and a passion for rescuing animals. These two meet and the attraction is evident from the start, yet they don't act on it because neither one of them feels they are worth taking a risk on. They start out as friends but as time passes that friendship turns into more. Santi does everything he can to make sure Micah has what he wants and Micah makes sure Santi's quirky animals are loved and cared for. When they finally realize their true feelings for each other, can they along with their quirky animals have the happy ending they deserve?
I would highly recommend this book to all readers, but be prepared to laugh and cry along the way as they navigate their way through their budding relationship.

Vegas was a trip, and that was an understatement. An understatement I couldn't remember and that included the brunette in my bed. That is, until my pounding headache had me getting up for a glass of water, and I saw the marriage license on the ground. The words: Clay Carrington and Christy Quinn and holy matrimony staring me in the face. I came to Vegas to get away, and the bratty owner's daughter of the ranch wanted to come with. I didn't even like the boss's daughter, let alone want to marry her. I guess things that happened in Vegas had a way of following you home.

Fun read!
Revisado: 05-05-21
I always love a hate/love relationship. This one was just that and more. I've never read anything by this author and I was pleasantly surprised. This author knew how to bring funny moments when they were needed and although the dual POV was a little confusing at times, it was very enjoyable. This was not my first listen with Curt Bonnem and it definitely won't be my last. He brought both characters out in an interesting twang that made me keep listening. It was a fun read and I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Hot Opposites Attract story!
Revisado: 02-20-21
Who can go wrong with a steamy opposites attract story? Definitely not Pandora Pine. Kennedy and Gunnar are the epitome of sweet opposites attract, especially when one of those men is a hot mess to start with. Gunnar and Kennedy's characters were well written and developed and the chemistry they share is by far the best I've read in a while. The slow burn to get them to their HEA was perfect and the love Kennedy's family shows Gunnar is amazingly sweet. John Solo's narration is what made the story realistic and helped me see the true chemistry between the characters. I would highly recommend this story to all readers of this genre and hope to read more of her work in the future.

Mateo and Bryan's story!
Revisado: 02-20-21
The magic of Ali Lyda and the Get Ink'd series continues with Mateo and Bryan's story. This is an age-gap/protector story with a little bit of kink thrown in. As always, Ali developed these characters to be relatable and likable. The story was well thought out and developed to make it easy for the reader to follow along.
Bryan is being stalked by a former daddy he met on a dating app. Mateo is there to save him when he gets into trouble. Both Bryan knows he needs Mateo to protect him and their relationship forms on the premise that not only would Mateo be his protector but he would be a good daddy to Bryan. Their chemistry is amazing and the ways Mateo is always there for Bryan are heartwarming
This can be read as a standalone but if you want to understand what's going on and how the other characters play a role, I would highly recommend reading the other books in the series first.

Aiden and Bryce!
Revisado: 02-20-21
I have loved everything about the Get Inked series. I have to say though, this was my least favorite of all the books. The chemistry just wasn't there as much as it was in the previous books, but that's not to say that I didn't like the characters. Bryce was very likable, where Aiden just didn't have the full spark like other characters in the previous books in the series.
Aiden and Bryce are competing for the same job in the FBI. They have the same skills and understand what it takes to be good at what they do. Bryce tried everything he could to break down Aiden's walls and it took some time for Bryce to show Aiden he could care for him and could be trusted.
I definitely recommend this book to those that have read the other books. I don't feel it can be read as a standalone because of the interconnecting characters. I would highly recommend reading the other books in the series before reading this one, so you know the story of the other characters.

Enemies to lovers Romance!
Revisado: 02-20-21
Kairo and Jun's story was by far my favorite of this series. It is the 6th book in the Caldwell Brothers series and can be read as a standalone.
Ali and Aiden are a powerhouse writing team. Their stories either have an instant connection or a lot of angst and I will say this one fell in the latter category. Jun did get on my nerves at times, but I enjoyed the competition between them to try to get what they both wanted. When they finally came together, holy moly was it hot!!
I'm sad to see this series end, but I'm happy Kairo got his HEA.

Hot, spicy, and suspenseful!
Revisado: 02-19-21
Let me say first that I love Aiden Bates. His style of writing hooks you in from the beginning and keeps you wanting more. This story was no different. This book had everything you could want in a story: hot men, spicy love making, and a whole lot of suspense. This was a great introduction to the series. The chemistry between Derek and Seb was everything you could hope for in a romance and they balanced each other out magically.
Derek is a doctor and Seb is the man he saves. Seb doesn't want to be protected but Derek wants to protect him from the brother that is trying to hurt him. Although he doesn't want the protection, through lots of love and Derek showing Seb he will be there for him no matter what, they find that happy ever after.
This was a great start to an amazing series.

Prince Renford is a royal brat. Nineteen and last in line for the throne, Wren hates his made-up job: commander of roses. Good thing his long-time valet has a firm hand. If only Wren could tempt him to break all palace protocol and use it. Thom Pierce is 16 years older. Old enough to know he should ignore his prince's less-than-subtle flirtation. He's been burned by a higher-ranked boy before.

Older is better!
Revisado: 09-20-20
What's a brat to do but fall for his older, more experienced valet?? Barely Regal is the story of Prince Renford. Wren is a brat that needs someone to keep him in line and keep him out of trouble. That's what Thom is hired to do and has been doing it for years. Thom has been in the same role before and has been burned before by a younger man and he vows to never do it again. What he doesn't bank on is the utter attraction he feels for the Prince despite the 16 year age difference. Despite his rule of never putting himself in the same position as in the past, he can't resist the charms and the needs Wren shows every time he's in the same room with him. What does he do? He gives in and makes the rules Wren needs in order to have the discipline needed to show his family he can be the Prince he's meant to be.
The daddy/boy kink is mild in this story but the dynamic of the two characters is magnificent. You feel the attraction between the two characters from the start, but Davies gives the reader the angst needed to make the story as steamy as the characters. I love daddy/boy kink and I will say there was just enough in this story to keep me reading and not feel it was overdone.
The narration of Kieran Flitton was as phenomenal in this book as it was in the others. I would most definitely recommend this book and would read it again.

Another great Austin Bates
Revisado: 09-03-20
Taking the Heat was one of those books that suck you in and make you want to keep listening. The characters were relatable and the plot was just plain HOT!! Austin did something that made the reader want to keep listening and that was to put the reader in suspense of why Jones treated Charlie so badly at the airport. Once the misunderstandings of the situation come out, you start to feel the heat resonating from Charlie and Jones and the chemistry comes to the forefront. With Jones' protectiveness and the sweet disposition of Charlie, it made for a great read.
Not only was the writing great, but the narration by Price Johnson was also top-notch. This was the first time I listened to a book narrated by Price, but I will definitely look into listening to him in the future. I would definitely recommend this book to all readers of MM Romance.

Loving Daddy and his boy
Revisado: 09-03-20
Morticia does it again with this series. So I didn't have the first book, so in order to read this book I had to buy it too and I'm so glad I did. In the Name of the Father laid out the story of Seth and Malcolm. Their story is low-angst but slow-burning from the start. Seth is a sweet character that has been dealt a raw life with a terrible Christian father that hurt him in order to try to remove the gay from his system. Seth went through many trials and tribulations to get to a point that he could start accepting who he is. Having the love of a man like Malcolm also helps him to accept his past to move on with his future.
The character development over the two books was intriguing and interesting. There is a climax in this story where Seth is sought out by members of his church because he has pressed charges against his father and other church members for their treatment of not only him but other boys that have been put through the same treatment. This was a good turning point for Seth's character as we can see that his nightmare will finally come to an end. Malcolm's love and help through this time made the ending of the series bittersweet.
Not only was the plot interesting, Nick J. Russo did a phenomenal job with the narration. This is a series I would definitely read again.
