This podcast is wild!
Revisado: 07-07-21
I just finished listening to all of the episodes. Loved every single one. The carnival crew does get off topic and get a little political from time to time, but the overall show does not miss a beat. They claim to nerd-out with impunity, and that is exactly what they do.

Historia
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Historia
What does motherhood mean to someone who was taken from their mother? What does "blackness" mean to someone deprived of their culture? And how does someone reassemble themselves after being torn apart by racist and relationship abuse? Lioness brings together the broken pieces of a life lived always as "other", celebrating the cracks and fissures in the same way that the Japanese art of kintsugi honours a damaged pot with gold lacquer, transforming its imperfections and fractures into strength, beauty, and truth.

Historia
Environmental devastation and economic chaos have turned America into a land of horrifying depravity. Assault, theft, sexual abuse, slavery, and murder are commonplace. And a zealous, bigoted tyrant has won his way into the White House. Directly opposed is Lauren Olamina, founder of Earthseed - a new faith that teaches "God Is Change". Persecuted for "heathen" beliefs as much as for having a Black female leader, Earthseed's followers face a life-and-death struggle to preserve their vision.

Historia
More than 50 years ago, John Coltrane drew the 12 musical notes in a circle and connected them with straight lines, forming a five-pointed star. Inspired by Einstein, Coltrane had put physics and geometry at the core of his music. Physicist and jazz musician Stephon Alexander returns the favor, using jazz to answer physics' most vexing questions about the past and future of the universe.

While I have limited knowledge of physics, I love jazz. The Jazz of Physics has inspired me to learn more about Physics and pick up my saxophone again. I will have to re listen to this book as I study more about physics and cosmology .
