Get past the narration of the first chapter

Good but a little confusing.

This was a good story, but you have to really pay attention to what is being said and by whom. The story jumps from present day and then back to 1908 so if you happen to miss the jump then you can get confused. I had to roll back a couple of times to get the date information to get back to where I am supposed to be.

I was told this was as good as Gone Girl, but it didn't quite match the twists and turns of Gone Girl. It is similar with some twists and turns. It was a little hard to follow in the beginning with the three different characters but once you get to know them it turned out to be very good. But not like Gone Girl by favorite this far.

Would you consider the audio edition of Dark Witch to be better than the print version?
The audio version enhances the story. I started the book intheaudio version but finished it in paperback. The storyteller portraying the characters in their native dialect - Irish is wonderful and brings the whole story to life.
Who was your favorite character and why?
All of them are wonderful from Branna, Connor, Meara, Boyle, Fin and Iona are my favorites.
What about Katherine Kellgren’s performance did you like?
Full bodied and true to characters.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
There were several moments that were really moving.
Any additional comments?
I already have the rest of the trilogy and can't wait to finish them.
