Worst narrator EVER!

This narrator ruined the story. I normally can finish a book in a day especially ones by this author but OMG the narrator killed this story. I am on day three of trying to sit through this monotone tragedy.

Simply Beautiful

Poignant, touching, revealing and healing journey of a young man that we thought had it all when in reality he was missing so much. I hope he finds his healing after speaking his truth because I am rooting for him and his new little family. This was a beautiful masterpiece!

I didn't love it

I love Dianne Duvall and her IG series so I eagerly devoured this new one. However, this series seems to be hit and miss with the only standout being The Segonian, which was awesome! The others and this one book in particular was disappointing. It book started off strong with great characters only to fizzle out have way through. It became really wordy in unnecessary places like the author was trying to meet a word count quota. Then it would simply gloss over parts where more detail could have been used to flesh out side characters and add depth. In short, I didn't really like. I don't think I will follow this series and will check back with this author if she ever returns to the IG world on Earth.

Simply Beautiful

This story had me all up in my feelings. It was giving family drama, overcoming odds, mature love, romance and a whole lot of sexiness.

Decent romance but slow moving

This was overly long and drawn out but still a quality story. It started well, then immediately stalled out with a lot of unnecessary scenes - almost like the author had a word count she had to meet. It didn’t have any action, conflict, tension or lovemaking until chapter 20. So basically more than have the book was extraneous. Kyle and London’s main plot was seemly simple but with side developments all over the place. Kyle was a wonderfully protective gentleman but London was extremely naive for her age and to be a business owner. The story overall was decent just slow as molasses.

Boring

I tried several times to finish the book before finally giving up. The basic premise is stupid, the dialogue stilted and the characters are just plain boring.

Simply Amazing

Another amazing story from one of my favorite authors. This was the untold story of Cliff and Emma which featured in the background of numerous IG stories. Emma was amazingly perfect for Cliff, the valiant young vampire with a heart of gold. She was caring, fierce, protective as hell yet slightly delusional because her faith in Cliff was unshakable, which made me love her all the more. Their story was beautiful, pulse pounding and utterly heartbreaking. I laughed, I cried and smiled rereading some of my favorite old scenes from Cliff’s perspective. He fought the internal battle for so long and with such honor you just couldn’t help but root for him. An amazing story for a very deserving and unlikely hero. The author really out did herself with this one so stop reading reviews and get this book NOW or do you need me to use the word AMAZING again to convince you!!

The females are pathetic

I don’t know what everyone else read but in each story the females characters made me scream in frustration. They said on thing, all tough and in control of their own destiny only to fold at the first sign of trouble with the men or push back. I hate when authors use that as a plot device. Women are resourceful and will walk away and find another way before we cave . My recommendation is to get this from the library.

Good not Great

I waited anxiously for this book and purchased it the day it was released only to get bored and put it down multiple times. The story dragged in some places but still contained all the elements we have come to love from this author’s stories. However, I wasn’t blown away, I don’t want to re-read it and will not rush to buy the next in the series. It was a decent story...good but unfortunately not great.

Frustrating Heroine

This book must be written for romance readers under 25 because anyone older or even with a semblance of logic would be frustrated by the idiotic moves of the heroine. I’m on chapter 6 and she has had numerous opportunities to talk to the hero and discuss her dilemma in an adult manner but instead resorts to childish, immature, prideful behavior. What’s sad is the narrator is good and it has the makings of a good story but the heroine is just so frustratingly stupid- is that supposed to be a plot device?? Idk but I can’t finish this mess!
