Historia
As writers, we all know what an incredible tool dictation software can be. It enables us to write faster and avoid the dangers of RSI and a sedentary lifestyle. But many of us give up on dictating when we find we can't get the accuracy we need. This book changes all of that. With almost two decades of using Dragon software under his belt, Scott will reveal how to supercharge your writing and achieve sky-high recognition accuracy from the moment you start using the software.

Historia
A Prescription for Retail Pharmacy offers an honest, politically incorrect, no-holds-barred look at the inner workings of the world of retail pharmacy. Pharmacist Jean-Marc Bovee answers all of your pharmacy-related questions and discusses real-life situations, problems, and solutions. If you are a patient, gain a better understanding of how a pharmacy functions; if you are a health care provider, learn how to better communicate with retail pharmacists.

This book is an insult to the reader

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Another writer, another narrator.
Has A Prescription for Retail Pharmacy turned you off from other books in this genre?
No, as a physician, I would like more information in this area, but not from this author.
What didn’t you like about Jean-Marc Bovee’s performance?
He has a condescending tone and a high pitched voice causes me to cringe just listening to him. I tried to endure this title, but just could not.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
It might, somewhere, but I couldn't get through it. Too annoying to listen to for long enough at one sitting. I tried several times, just to be sure it wasn't my mood, or bad mood.
Any additional comments?
Maybe some of you can tolerate this, but I have been listening to audio books for many years and don't ever remember one that I couldn't bear to listen to. Bad content, bad delivery. The author has made some attempt to give his point of view of what it is like to be a pharmacist, but only the "hassles" of being a retail pharmacist and having to deal with the public. He sounds like he doesn't value his customers. He thinks they ask stupid questions, ask too many questions and are in general morons. He doesn't like pharmacy techs much either. Mostly this is his long reiteration of what a pain in the neck it is to be a retail pharmacist.
