Two Gen Xers try to make heads or tails of todays trends with help of their young millennial friend, while simultaneously trying to explain the greatest of pop culture generations (the 80’s and 90’s) to her. It’s humor, history and hopefully an understandable definition of the word ‘Yeet’. I mean wtf IS that?!

Kinky may not be for everyone, but if you get it, you love him. The seminal work by the saddle-stool detective introduced some of the best characters to ever jump off a page. Kinky has the writing style one can only achieve by living years as a jaded, forgotten, and under appreciated country musician. To not delve into a Friedman mystery is an injustice to the long forgotten dream of Americana that resides within us all.
