And Cohen has to fix the bug in his demo code before it releases in a few days. But now he’s got to take care of this stupid tongue first. When he manages to deliver the tongue to Calla Human, she drags him into a bizarre new world where severed limbs are merely a commodity and a mysterious client is calling all the shots.

This is one of those wonderful times I couldn’t wait to finish with normal daily living chores so I could get back to the story. It grabbed me and pulled me in and made me forget the real world for awhile. A delightful story, unique and new, with characters I liked and understood. Thank you, Elesa.

Kara’s adventures in the beginning were interesting, but getting into the story it was one looong whiny complaint and toward the end it was a super detailed description of how to deal with depression. Sooo not a good read. Kara thinks she’s the only one in the world who’s had a rough childhood and that it gives her a reason to be self absorbed. Could have been a good story without all that.
