Historia
Everyone expected Violet Sorrengail to die during her first year at Basgiath War College-Violet included. But Threshing was only the first impossible test meant to weed out the weak-willed, the unworthy, and the unlucky. Now the real training begins, and Violet’s already wondering how she’ll get through. It’s not just that it’s grueling and maliciously brutal, or even that it’s designed to stretch the riders’ capacity for pain beyond endurance. It’s the new vice commandant, who’s made it his personal mission to teach Violet exactly how powerless she is–unless she betrays the man she loves.

Loved it just as much as the first
Revisado: 12-29-23
Great story, highly recommend. I did have to fast forward a bit of the love scenes, way too long. But even with that, I highly recommend the series

Great story, regardless of political view
Revisado: 06-19-23
Overall great story, doesn’t feel like a political or religious push, even do it does have a lean.
I would recommend.
Kinda of unrealistic premise, but that’s almost all books (hunger games, Harry Potter)
Just enjoy the story for what it is.

A very weak main character - still waiting
Revisado: 04-12-23
All she does is make mistakes, get angry, cries, and blame others. She doesn’t think or try to learn from her mistakes, just keeps making them. Puts others at harm, but claims to be helpful and strong. This book moves from one crying moment to another, and I keep asking myself when will they start making this character a hero. Just please stop making dumb decisions and just making hot headed mistakes. I have 1.5 hours left in this book and I keep listening - hopeful that the last bit will make this listen worth it.

Historia
Edwin St. Andrew is eighteen years old when he crosses the Atlantic by steamship, exiled from polite society following an ill-conceived diatribe at a dinner party. He enters the forest, spellbound by the beauty of the Canadian wilderness, and suddenly hears the notes of a violin echoing in an airship terminal—an experience that shocks him to his core.

Slow burn at first but then…
Revisado: 03-17-23
Not going to lie, the first couple minutes didn’t know what was happening or why this story seemed to have high . But then things pit up, got more interesting and I got hooked. I needed to know what happened. You’ll enjoy this story of you give it time.

Great health book
Revisado: 02-20-18
I will recommend this book to friends and family. If eating healthier has little to no downside, why wouldn't people just try it. Instead of trying to discourage.
