They don't really explain the mystery. Either that or I'm too dense to catch it... I don't like that kind of ending where you only have an idea that something has happened other than what people think at first, but you don't find out in full. IDK even if the guy got away with it.

Cute but not entertaining

Yes, it’s aliens, so technically sci-fi, but overall the storyline is very domestic. It has the right plot elements to be a story, but it just wasn’t entertaining.
I would say it’s good young adult science fiction, but it had a little bit of foul language in it too.

A few gems buried in an ocean of basics

This would be better in physical format.
As a business owner, did I get one credit worth of value out of this book? Yes, but I felt like I had to fight for it.
it also contained several repeats of the same information tidbits and even a full repeat of one or two paragraphs at one point. Very offputting.

There were several solid points and I was able to extract ideas and action items BASED ON the content here, but little of what was actually detailed/explained was directly useful. upon review of my notes, most of my value and inspiration derived from this book was actually from the quotes of other authors and business leaders that were recorded herein.
Some entire sections felt like I was reading ChatGPT.
I ended up skipping some chapters because they felt like they were staying a lot of unnecessarily obvious thoughts, or only gave overly optimistic and unrealistic scenarios.
I ended up skipping almost all of the last quadrant of the book because it felt unnecessarily obvious and had little practical value.

The narrator also pronounced the word behemoth as if they had never seen the word in their life before… (bee-hi-moth)

Way too hard to follow

Poor audio (voices sound like they’re in tunnelly rooms, and/or bad studio environment), inconsistent voices with the rest of the series (yes I know it’s voice actors but RC Bray established the baseline and they should have remained true to that), and this version lacked the “narrative” present in the rest of the series, leaving only the characters’ out-loud words to give context to the situations. Lacks the context of maser beams zapping by and doing X and Y and almost causing Z… instead we basically get “whoa that was close.”
Overall, poorly done as an audio drama.

this story has me strung along for the answer. I can't spoil it for you but I can tell you I wouldn't stop in the middle of this one. I'm glad I finished but not at much that I listened to this book.

cool action; confusing transitions between scenes

while I enjoy the action sequences, I have no idea how the author transitioned from scene 1 to scene 2 there's no commentary with regard to the amount of passage of time or new location, at least not in the audiobook. so it was very hard to follow. The story was okay at best and the action sequences were fun.
